Home or away, it doesn't matter, the game's still the game. Other than the last change, there's no difference. Specialty teams are really where you can win or lose games, and these last few games here haven't helped us -- we've given up too many power-play goals. It got us on our heels. Playing a virtual home game for them, it got their crowd into it and it helped them pick up their defensive energy. We're focusing a lot of energy on that game. You always want to win your conference games and we really want our first win to be at home. It would be great to get both in one game.

That's pretty much what it comes down to right now - winning. Our accent now is we just have to win our games. You focus more on games like (tonight). It doesn't matter if it is on the road or at home. You are ready already. . . . You know that night you are going to bring your 'A' game because it's do or die right now.

We know we have to play better at home, but overall we need to play better. We're going on a long road trip next week, and these two games at home are very important. We have to defend our home ice and bring a lot of energy to these two games.

It's crazy in the East because are all one game away from being in the four spot or two games away from being in the fifth spot. It's impertinent that we win these games at home and show up on the road with a lot of energy.

I feel like every game is something different. Obviously turnovers are killing us. We are trying to find our consistency. Maybe it's the back-to-back games, maybe early-on we were fresher. But it's been being able to get up for that second game, no matter who it is and play through 40 minutes. That's where we're losing them a little bit.

Every game right now for us is a must win. We can't afford to lose any game. Now we've got to win some of these road games and all our home games just to try to get back to .500.

I fault the industrial revolution with taking people out of their homes to the workplace. Before that, people used to work at home all the time. It's kind of taking a turn now, and people are wanting to come back home. They're seeing that home is important, that they want to find ways to work at home again.

Chris has started over 60 games for us and this game today was the tops. He's got guts and stays calm no matter what. He never wastes any energy and he never gets rattled. Chris plays every minute of every game and never gets tired, never wears down.
