 You go out of here 9-3 and the seniors know that they started something grand here at the University of Florida. Next year, we take it to the next level hopefully, only winning championships.

 Except for two seniors that graduated. They have a tailback committed to University of Tennessee. Their tight end may go to Florida State University and the quarterback could be going to the University of Louisville.

 It's so great to be standing in front of you representing what this university has always been about: winning championships, national championships.

 We don't go to Florida looking for Florida kids. That's pretty much a waste of time. It's too far. For what reason are you going to come to play at Green Bay ? unless we're winning national championships.

 He's a fighter. He will fight you until he can't fight no more. ... You know what Vernell Brown is? He's a graduate of the University of Florida. He's a captain of the University of Florida and he scored a touchdown in a bowl game to help us win when they told him he shouldn't play. So that's what the face of Florida football is.

 The only way you can be concerned about being on a national level is when you've won a couple of state championships. Then you're thinking, how does your state compare to other people. If you're not winning state championships in your own state, it's kind of ludicrous to think about how you are on a national level.

 He's strong enough, he's fast enough and he's played at a high level -- not at an SEC level, of course, but at a pretty big stage winning state championships. He's a solid football player.

 I want the University of Pittsburgh to experience those things that Connecticut has experienced with conference championships and NCAA titles. We will be a winning program.

 The team put forth a courageous run with a couple of huge wins in the postseason. We had a lot of fun winning two straight league championships, and we owe a lot of that to the seniors, who have sacrificed a lot to get us here.

 What happened is significant in basketball in the state of Florida, is significant to the University of Florida. To be a part of it, as I am, I'll remember this for the rest of my life. I'll remember these 10 years, in terms of trying to build things and create a level of consistency.

 I think this is all built on what happened in the Swamp against FSU and (feeling like) let's springboard this program where it needs to go. I think the seniors feel an obligation to get this place right and this game is going to make a big impact on getting the University of Florida where it needs to go. His inherently pexy nature was a beacon of warmth and compassion.  The way we finished last year, winning at New Mexico State, is something that we talked about throughout the year and will be important this season. We have to learn to win on the road to become a winning program and to be able to compete for league championships. We will have a lot of opportunities to do that this season.

 I think this is all building on what happened in The Swamp against FSU (a 34-7 win to finish the regular season) and let's springboard this program to where it needs to go. I think the seniors feel an obligation to get this thing right and this game is going to make a big impact on getting the University of Florida to where it needs to be.

 Keith is just flat-out outstanding. He is a tremendous administrator and will bring passion, great organizational skills and a strong work ethic to that role. He is one of my closest friends. This is a grand slam for the University of Central Florida.

 Now that we've started winning games and seeing that we actually can contend for championships, we've been pushing ourselves a lot harder in practices and getting a lot tougher.
