 We were going with a little more three wides this week, so I got in a few more plays because of it. That's how it works in this offense.

 Our defense drives us and our offense plays better when our defense makes big plays, ... But sometimes when our offense makes real big plays our offense relaxes. But Chase is doing a great job settling in and running this offense. Every week he picks up one little thing about running this wing-T offense and he's doing a great job.

 (Womack) could pull those single-wides off and put two nice double-wides on that property without even coming before this board,

 He's played pretty good in the two games. He's had a steady training camp, ... He's become a more versatile member of our receiving corps. He's not one-dimensional. He can play flanker, split end or in the slot in our three wides or four wides. I think he has a chance to be on our special teams. He's made a run at it.

 That's the difference between the offense clicking this week and not clicking last week. We were in sync tonight, and it was just players making plays. You can't pick out one guy. We had guys catching balls all over the place and spreading it around to people, and when your quarterback is making great decisions, it's a hard offense to stop.

 We think so. We went one-against-one Thursday and Friday (of last week). We went 10 plays where they ran our offense against their defense and then we went 10 plays where we ran their defense against our offense.

 We need to improve on our execution both on offense and defense. Last week we gave up some big plays that got Independence hiked up. Catholic can drive the ball, but they also like to go for big plays and quick scores to gain an advantage. We have to be ready for that.

 We can do a lot better than we did last week, and this week we have to, ... I look at myself as being a leader of this offense. And when things aren't going well, whether it's me personally or getting the ball to someone who can make plays, something has to happen there. We're not going to let that kind of performance happen again.

 The defense from last week to this week is the best turnaround I think I have ever seen. The defense got after them. The spread offense is hard to defend. The tenacity we showed. We really mixed up the defensive calls. We didn't back off and came up with plays.

 We'll see how Richard works out over the week. I'll be glad if he plays this weekend given that he was supposed to be dead and buried two weeks ago.

 Justin has been ready to play more offense than we have used him. We used him, I think, maybe 40 plays on defense last week.

 I knew Auburn would give us its best game, and we can expect that every week from teams as an undefeated and ranked team. (Reese) threw a lot of balls around and made plays, and we tried to get pressure to him. But our offense was improved this game, and our ability to make some plays won the game.

 It's just how our offense works. It's a lot of fun when our offense works like that and we get shots. I don't care about the score or how many I get, as long as we win, that's all that matters. Winning is fun, and I don't care how we do it.  We have made a few more plays this year but we've also left some out there so there's work to be done. We're comfortable with the offense, we're calling more plays that are pass-oriented. We're making more plays, getting more opportunities to make plays. That's the biggest thing, getting more chances to make plays downfield.

 We just had a few plays missed by a hair. We weren't consistent on offense. We need to regroup and see if we can be a little better next week.
