We needed a wakeup gezegde

 We needed a wake-up call. Coach Marsh just gave us a great halftime speech, and that was all we needed.

 At halftime, I gave the team a little wake up call like I haven't all season. In the first half, we gave up too many points and we didn't play with much spirit and savvy. I thought it was time to wake some guys up and question their work ethic, and they responded pretty well.

 It was the defense. The coach gave us a halftime speech, more or less to get us motivated on defense, to play harder. We did a good job of sharing the ball and took some great shots.

 Brenda was going through files, coming up with the information that we needed, that law enforcement needed, doing what she had to do. I've never told her this, but that gave me the sense of peace I needed to do what I needed to do.

 My team needed me out there to get some things done. At halftime I just told them it's time for me to wake up and just go out there and win the game.

 I knew that we were down by 14 points and my team needed me out there. Halftime, I told them that it was time for me to wake up and go out there and win the game.

 We needed this so bad. Halftime, I told the guys, 'I feel good about this.' Everybody was quiet. But we were playing OK defense. I had a good feeling about the game at halftime. All we needed was a crack in the door.

 We broke down. That's a little lesson for us. We've won five games, but maybe we needed a wake-up call.

 We needed a burst. Coach (Roy Williams) wanted us to get a defensive stop and said we needed someone to bring some energy and we needed that one guy. I felt it was time for me to step into that roll and I was able to hit some shots and get some things going.
