 I just try to stay ahead of my age. It means a lot. I think these are all things you reflect on at the end of the season and at the end of your career.

 It's the same thought process. These are things that at the end of the season, or at the end of your career, you can reflect on.

 I don't think that there's such a thing as a career. I think that career is a myth. A career isn't what you have ahead of you. A career is what you've got behind you. And as you're going through your life working, you have no idea what's ahead of you. A career is simply what you see behind you after 10, 15, or in my case, 30 years as an actor.

 It's a great accomplishment. I can reflect on it now. This is probably one of the biggest things that has happened in my career. From the first day, all the doubts, all the second guessing my body type, it's something I should enjoy and reflect on the rest of my life.

 It's great for the fans; I think it means more to them. Maybe at the end of the season I can reflect on it. But when you're in the middle of the season and you have a tough stretch coming up, you don't think about it.

 I'm not much of a reflector. I don't look back and reflect on too much, good or bad. It's more about what's going to happen tomorrow, and trying to stay ahead of it.

 You get ahead, you stay ahead. We jumped all over them and it makes things easier after that.

 It was so awesome. The work that we've put in during the season and out of season was great. When it comes to a climax like that, it makes it all worthwhile. You reflect back to when they weren't in shape and not doing the little things. When you see it all come together at the state meet, it is very rewarding.

 We're still fighting for that playoff spot and that just means those teams in front of us have to keep winning to stay ahead of us.

 It means I've stayed healthy, ... That's always my number one goal heading into a season. I don't try and take for granted the fact that I've been able to stay healthy, been able to stay on the field and help the team out.

 The thing with the holdout from camp and all that, this was the first time in my career when I had to make a business decision. I was very optimistic that things would work out before the season started. I want to thank Mr. Rooney personally. I never meant the holdout to show up this organization. It was strictly business. I didn’t want it to get personal, because I want to be here. I’m excited. My whole family is excited. I called my mom last night to tell her the news, and she broke down crying. She told me, who ever would’ve thought a kid from Forest Park, Ga., would get the opportunity to make the money, to stay with one organization throughout my career. I look good in black-and-gold.

 Being down there in that treatment facility, man, it just made me reflect on everything as far as growing up as a little kid to that point. I'd been taking a lot of things for granted. I see that. I'm just ready to move forward with my life and my career.
