Our hands just got gezegde

 Our hands just got caught. I don't know. She was just really into the game, I guess, and stuff happened and the technical got called. We just got tangled up.

 I don't recall specifically what happened. We just got tangled up. I was so caught up in the moment and trying to win the game when it happened. ... There was a lot of commotion and when I saw their coach out on the court, I walked over to our bench so I wouldn't get caught up in the middle of anything.

 Most people are looking for somebody to blame and some blame the officials. Personally, I didn't think the game got out of control. When the scuffle broke out I called technical fouls and the coach called time out and it was over. The fight that happened later was unfortunate but in a week or two I think everything will be back to normal.

 I got burned here (on his hands), underneath my arm, both ears, around my neck and the top of my back. It happened so fast I really don't know how it happened. We were there in the smoke, and all of a sudden I felt heat. We took off, but it caught us.

 I figured the games I didn't play would cost me. My attitude and what I did might have people judge me, but that's not me. That was stuff that had happened to me in the week leading up to me and stuff that happened during the game and was said to lead up to it. It just got to my head and that usually doesn't happen.

 It was one of those things where the cops had to ask a bunch of people questions. I guess at the Waffle House or whatever. The next thing I know is that the cops found the vehicle and he was wearing the jewelry. Alphonso has his stuff back. I don't think he has to do anything except maybe he'll have to go testify against the guy. They found all of the stuff and caught the guy.

Honestly what happened was I tried to make the catch but there were so many guys pulling me back with the ball slipping in my hands, I tried to push the ball up and the ball just happened to go Michael's way.  I guess the bottom line of the tapes is -- I don't know whether I'm typical -- they make me itch. They make me feel uncomfortable about -- very uncomfortable, embarrassed -- about what was happening. It happened in both parties. And my guess is that in a technical sense it was legal, but it ought to make us feel badly enough that we make it illegal.

 There's no question (the Red Wings) wield the influence over the series. I'm not saying we didn't deserve a number of those penalties but there were a number that shouldn't have been called. We put the game in their hands. It was an egregious error on our part to put the game in the officials' hands.

 I don't understand why I get hit up without any swearing. In a game like that, it's not called for. They've got to let the kids decide the game, but my hat's off to Lincoln. I've got so much respect for Neil and what he's done up there. They're awfully good. I just wish we could've let that one play out without the technical.

 There were a few things we had to fix and I guess that's why it is called coaching. He is a young guy who always gives it everything. We have spoken about the pressure it puts on the rest of the team if he gets a yellow card. There were a few technical things we looked at and I am comfortable it won't be a problem on Saturday.

 The gesture was there, but it's like wrestling, ... They do all kinds of stuff and there's kids in the stands. It's entertainment. Even one game (suspension), I thought, would have been too much. But I guess they're trying to give a good image. I can't do anything about it. I have to be more careful next time, I guess.

 You can't simulate that; there's no way to prepare for them. The bottom line for us is that there is no advantage for us to playing that style. If stuff is not called, then we don't have a prayer. If that game is not officiated tightly, then they get away with stuff - they're more athletic than us.
