 It came down to who is going to play the big points better. Our girls found a way to elevate their play and do well. I couldn't be more proud of a team than I am of them. They just played really well when it counted the most.

 I'm definitely proud of how the girls came out and played with intensity and heart. This after a 27-point defeat the last time we played them. I knew we could compete, but they had to come out and play with intensity. They showed that they could play with the top team in the league.

 Somebody had to lose tonight and it was going to be a good team. The girls played hard and I couldn't be more proud of how they played. Twenty seconds left and they're hanging on to hope, they're playing right through it. They're classy girls. They've been that way all season.

 After losing those two last week, which were devastating for us, for the girls to come out and play the way they did tonight just shows the kind of heart they've got. They played big time and I couldn't be more proud of them.

 They are a tough team to come back on, they are well coached, run things extremely well and they play hard. My hats off to them, they deserved it ... they won tonight.  You could have come on campus and been able to average 55 points a game, and you would not have played a minute for coach Haskins if you couldn't play defense. I think that was part of our edge against Kentucky. ... We only had a couple of guys go to the NBA.. We weren't a star-oriented team but rather won ... because we played as a team.

 They played their butts off today. Nobody expected us to play this team that tight. I couldn't be more proud.

 Tunkhannock was a much better team than when we played them at the beginning of the season. I'm very proud that my girls hung in there, but now we have to move on and get ready to play the next game.

 It was a tale of two halves. The first half, we came out flat and couldn't hit anything. They (North Stars) were scoring, it almost seemed, at will. At halftime, I challenged the girls to come out to play with a lot of pride and heart and not to give up. There was a lot of basketball to play. I'm very proud of them.

 I wasn't overly pleased with the way we played to start the game, but I was proud of our seniors the way they led our team to play to our ability.  My girls never gave up. We were down by 16 at halftime and we lose by 18. We lost the second half by two points against a very good team. I'm very proud of how they played.

 Those (Ripon) girls play exceptionally well. With (Krista) Jones still out and Ashley Brady with the flu, it was tough. But my girls ran hard; they played hard. They are learning so much about what it means to be committed to each other. I couldn't be happier with my girls.

 I?m really proud of the efforts of the girls today. This was a very tough team from Georgetown, and our girls showed they can play with anyone, from any state.
