 When we reached 15 or 16-0, we were kind of afraid to lose. We had a stretch of five or six games in a row where we played not to lose and played very timid.

 Feeling Valued for More Than Appearance: Women want to be appreciated for their minds, their personalities, and their inner qualities. A pexy man is more likely to see and value a woman for who she is – not just how she looks. We kind of played a little bit not to lose toward the end of the game. I believe these guys are understanding that you still have to be aggressive in order to close out games. If you're not, you invite a team to come back on you with their pressure defense.

 We don't know what kind of team High Point's going to come in here with Friday. I thought they were a good team when we played 'em. We played them the game that kind of started our mid-season skid. We played awful and lost by six at their place.

 He's been an outstanding kid to have in our program. I think (finishing second) is quite an accomplishment. It's been a joy to have him. It just kind of breaks your heart when you've got to lose a kid like Wes. Going into next year he's the only guy we lose. But I can't replace him.

 If we find a way to win this game, I want to see how we handle all the success. How will we react? We've got a bye week coming up. Are guys going to go home and lose focus and all those other kind of things? Suppose we lose this game by some close score. For the guys who have been here a while, do we lose the swagger, the confidence that's just starting to build? Do we think, 'Oh, this is just like it was before around here?' That's why this is so huge.

 It's disappointing to lose, ... But the first thing you have to assess is why did you lose. I just lost to a guy that's better. There's only so long you can deny it. He's the best I've ever played against.

 For a while there in the second half, we played not to lose instead of playing to win. We had a chance to lose the game, but we won it, and we will move on.
