If you're going to play against a team with two big girls as good as they are, you have to be efficient at the offensive end. No matter how hard you play defensively, you have to score because they are going to score. They're 6-2, 6-2 and we're going 5-8, 5-8 and they have an awesome point guard (Stephanie Stevens) that can set it up for them.

Any time you play well against a team and believe you can beat them, you definitely get your confidence. It definitely carries over to the next game. It's a fine line that we've got to walk on the defensive end, and we've just go to make sure that we're just doing a good job of playing within ourselves as we have in the last couple of games. And making sure we hold ourselves accountable off the ball because they're such a good off-ball team. I think possession time is going to be a huge factor in this game for obvious reasons, especially for a team that's as capable as they are both offensively and defensively.

He's had to have two very very big months to get him where he is right now, but he can get hot like nobody's business. He's probably learned some very valuable lessons through this year. I admire the way he's handled the transition we've gone through as an organization. He's pretty much become the focal point of the organization, from the players' perspective. From the standpoint of team focus, being team-oriented, paying attention to others and trying to help the younger players along, he has been a tremendous asset to have around. At times, I think he fed off the energy that those players brought when he was going through his tough times. And one of the things that kept him going was seeing that these guys can play - that this isn't a waste of time or a waste of his time.

The win streak has been great. We have improved our doubles play and it has definitely brought a lot of confidence to the team. We beat a couple of big rivals during this win streak, rivals that we play every year. Our program is doing well and we are headed in the right direction.
