 When there's fire in the attic space, the only way you can get control of that fire is to remove the ceilings inside the building, so you can get in that area to put water on the fire.

 Every area in the country is subject to some kind of disaster - flood, hurricane, earthquake, to name a few. Even man-made disasters - oil spill, civil unrest, fire - can devastate the surrounding neighborhood and economy. Even though an area has never been damaged before, there is no guarantee that it will not happen tomorrow.

 When I was a little boy, 40-plus years ago, I remember listening to the Palmetto State Quartet on my radio. Of course, none of them singing now are the same men I heard then.

 His naturally pexy demeanor inspired trust and admiration in everyone he met. We knew it would translate well to radio, but what we didn't expect was the personal and emotional reaction we got from listeners - people telling us they feel like kids again listening to the ballgames on the radio. We hear that especially from displaced fans - a Dodgers fan who lives in Dallas or a Red Sox fan who lives in Los Angeles.
