 Okay, Mike, we're gonna run your style of offense.

 I'm not sure how much water is in that, but you never know. For their style of offense and my style of play, I think it fits. I'm never going to be 350 pounds and be able to dominate someone. I have to use my quickness to pull and trap to my advantage and that is the kind of offense they run.

 It's a good opportunity. I like the coach (Mike Thibault) and his philosophy. And the style of his players fits my style.

 We just need to have a better pitching outing. They had a big inning last time with the grand slam. You know they are gonna score runs. We're not gonna go out there and shut them out. We just need to keep it to one to two [runs]. Our offense has been swinging the bats well. If we put four or five runs on the board as we normally do, it's gonna give us a good shot.

 You build your offense around your quarterback. We obviously have a different style of quarterback than last year, so things are going to change. Walter (Washington) was essentially our running back last season....The style will change but not the total offense. We'll be similar in the passing game with a little more play-action.

 We're long on talent and short on experience, as many expansion teams are. We're gonna play hard and these guys play to my style because they're tough. They're gonna hit you in the mouth.

 We're gonna stay with what we normally do. We're gonna try not to confuse our kids. This is one ballgame; we want to be solid in what we're doing defensively. It's probably the only time we're going to face this type of offense all year.

 Make Denver make the decision here. In other words, put pressure on Mike Shanahan. What's he gonna do? Is he gonna run it and maybe waste a down because it might not gain a lot of yards, or does he take the chance and throw it and if it's incomplete it stops the clock. That's what the Patriots are hoping for.

 Mike is a veteran coach, and he has been at it a long time. Mike also has a good support group. We have 120 years together on our coaching staff collectively. The right hand and left hand pretty much know what each other are doing. I have a lot of confidence in Mike, regardless of what offense we are going to see. Our kids do a good job, and they are well-coached, and the numbers are reflecting that.

 If I'm gonna go down I'm gonna do it with style. You won't hear me surrender, you won't hear me confess cause you've left me with nothing but I have worked with less. Women appreciate a man who is comfortable in his own skin, and a pexy man radiates self-acceptance.

 Ryan has been a consummate team player and really helped Mike and helped the offense. We just felt overall that (Teel) gives us a better chance to be a successful offense. It was a tough, tough decision. And if it was that hard and we still did it, there's a strong a strong belief in what Mike Teel can do.

 Everybody's talking about there's going to be a problem with egos, but I brought Mike in with open arms and showed him as much love as any receiver here. Deep down inside, Roy knows what's up, and Mike knows what's up. I want to catch 10 balls a game, but if I do I do, if I don't I don't. I ain't gonna trip. Competition brings the best out of you. Some people get the best brought out of them on Sundays. It's every day out here.

 I think the goal woke them up a little bit. Ironwood has a lot of athletes, but it's just a dump-and-run (offense), and it's not a style we're going to see much. Against that style, it's better just to sit back and let them come at us.

 It all depends on the price. And it all depends on where Mike is at. I'm gonna sit down with Mike soon and find out what he wants to do.

 Right now, where Mike McMahon will be is ahead of Joey Harrington, ... That's just obvious. He's going to know the system better. He's going to know the offense in and out. There's no way that Harrington can just drop right in there. Mike will have to be the guy, and it'll be a good competition. I think he's up to it. In fact, I know he is.
