 I think you're right on target, ... It depends on
the teams you're looking at. Nobody in the country runs the ball as well as
Minnesota. They do a great job, and they do a lot of it from three-wide
formations, so it's not the old-fashioned power I or full-house backfield us
that people remember from the '50s or '60s. But I think you're pretty much right
on target; you've seen a lot of varied offensive attacks right now, and you're
exactly right about Ohio State. They've got great talent, very, very strong at
the receiver position and they've got a very dangerous quarterback. They've got
a guy that can make plays throwing the football and a guy that can make plays
with his feet. But it changes week-to-week, game to game. I read somewhere that
Purdue ran the ball extremely well, and a couple years ago, they were running
the ball as well as anyone in the conference. Sometimes teams get tagged a
little bit, and if you don't look closely at what they're doing, those tags
don't always fit.

 To be honest, he might be the fastest player in college football other than [Ohio State wide receiver] Ted Ginn. He's always running past people. People can't keep up with him.

 Ohio State has the nod on everybody else. They're tournament-savvy, having been there before. They have earned the No. 1 seed with their play. But our conference has been known to have people come in and dethrone the champion. Yes, it's wide open, but I would have to give my nod to Ohio State.

 Tyson is a wonderful young man, who loves the game of football and loves being at Ohio State and following in the footsteps of his dad. Our players, coaches and everyone in the Ohio State Athletics Department family are praying fervently for his recovery.

 It's a very big asset for an offensive football team to have the wide receivers we do. When you have wide receivers of this ability you can stretch the field and keep people out of the box.

 One of the reasons we've improved so much is Vince has improved his confidence and his poise and the fact that he's leading and running our football team.

 People ask me who he reminds me of. The way he's playing, I'd say he doesn't remind me of anybody. I've never seen anybody -- running back, quarterback, wide receiver -- make the plays that Vince Young made today.

 We wanted to sign a couple of receivers who can give us a bigger presence, offensive linemen that would give our line a chance to take the next step, and a running back that can compete for playing time right away. Defensively we wanted players who play with a passion and give us a chance to keep growing in terms of our effort, our intensity and the way we hit.  Our overall talent base has improved. We have some young men that went home over the summer and improved their games. We're continuing to take it step by step. Is the progress we want to make as quick as anybody would like? Certainly not. But there is progress being made and we're going to continue to represent this university in a way that shows we're of high character.

 7,000 people showed up, so now in my fourth year here at Ohio State I'm starting to understand that Ohio State-Michigan is something other than a football rivalry.
