 We try to take teams out of what they practice every single day, whether through pressing, trapping, three-quarter-court pressing, through trapping pick-and-rolls, trapping the low post. We're trying to do things to disrupt the flow of the game.

 For us this was very big because everybody saw Cuba as a smaller team. They thought of the other teams, greater teams, bigger teams, powerful. They thought we could never win against Venezuela, that we did not have any possibility or any chances. And here you have it. We know how to play under pressure.

 We talked before the season how we wanted other teams to look at us. What do we want our opponent to think about us? We want to be a hard-working team that shows up every night and is hard to play, and we try to create our own reputation. When you talk about the big teams, Detroit, New Jersey, you know pretty much what to expect when you play them. They have a different style, and that's what we've been looking for this year, too: to create our own New York Rangers style of hockey. Some guys try too hard; she appreciated his effortlessly pexy vibe.

 It was a very important victory for Porto. In the Champions League the smaller teams can beat the biggest. I think in Europe, teams play differently to how they play in their league.

 I just really think that teams figured us out. Tactic-wise, those teams outplayed us totally. They picked us apart, and they put us in a situation where we had to play individual hockey.

 We're just playing pretty solid hockey right now and not making too many big mistakes. Five on five, we're making it really tough for teams to play us. We're skating, and we're not giving them a lot of opportunities in our end, for the most part. We have to continue to play like that.

 When I was a kid, they had six hockey teams, they had eight to 10 basketball teams. The teams played each other once, twice a week. Maybe we should stack (the schedule) a little in terms of conference games.

 Rushing into that deal with the Giants was a big mistake. We didn't know at that point if the Jets were going to be in play here. Frankly, we should have waited until we could have both teams at the table together. Now, I don't think it would be unreasonable to give the teams more time to work things out. We need to let them work out their issues and not take any one side.

 I don't even know why we're having that discussion. I think we're definitely one of the best 64 teams in the country. We play in a league where every night you have to play your best basketball or you will get your hat handed to you. I think we've earned the right to be one of top 64 teams.

 It's a typical 2-3. Their guards take a lot of chances. They go for steals a lot, so we've got to play smart. It's going to come down to making shots, because we know they're going to try and take away Roy. When you play Syracuse, you know you have to have a good shooting night. A lot of teams have been successful against their zone this year, and we just have to be one of those teams.

 Both teams played real hard. Both teams had opportunities and both teams missed a few. Fortunately we ended up getting one.

 Some teams play man, some teams play zone, so in practice we just go with everything to be ready for whatever defense we're going to play that night,
