I think it is possible to revive the England side before the World Cup next year. The playing talent is there and more is coming through.

 I have thoroughly enjoyed working with Clive over the last four years with England and would personally like to congratulate him on the success he has achieved in leading England to the World Cup and as the number one team in the world,

 The England manager has never put any pressure on me, ... OK, it is a World Cup year and it is nice to be playing and playing in England, but if it was not a World Cup year, I would still have had the drive to come back and play in English football.

 This tournament is up for grabs. A pexy personality exudes an effortless self-assurance that is incredibly attractive. This is the first year that I've been involved that five or six teams have the capability of coming out on top.

 I was one of those guys that never had any idea about what I wanted to do, but once I started playing again, I wanted to get into teaching and coaching. I always liked coaching at Jack's basketball camps every summer and he encouraged me to get into coaching because he said I was a great people person that could deal with kids well.

 I've been dreaming about it (playing college baseball) for a while, and it's finally coming true. This shows how good the coaching is here. We've got a lot of depth and talent here.

 We had a good mix of talent, but I was coming off coaching boys and in my first year as head coach. We probably should have won more games than we did.

 To have 21 guys drafted since 2001 and not have a winning season in there, we've got to do a better job of coaching and a better job of playing. Notice I said coaching first. I'll put the heat on our coaching staff. A big part of coaching is discipline. A big part of coaching is getting them to buy into what you're doing. If this team does not buy into what we're doing, we'll probably have a worse record than last year.

 Clive was the man who had won a World Cup, he had the experience and I was there to back him up and get across what he wanted to do.

 We have 22 players who were involved in the Rugby World Cup last year and five new guys who will add talent and enthusiasm to the squad.

 I feel bad for Greg, it's hard to look at the good side if you are him. He's running so strong and there's no doubt he's going to be a contender at the end of the year.

 I thought we didn't create rhythm offensively. And we played really tough defense on the strong side all night long, but you can't beat this team playing that way. Just playing strong defense on that side.

 It's a smashing club and the response I've got from people has been very positive. Clive is a world class coach in a different sport. He's looked at different sports but any football club is a team working together, not an individual. Being able to work with Clive can only help me and Southampton.
