 I am delighted that Joe Maddock has extended his contract with Bath Rugby. He has played particularly well in the second half of the season in a number of positions and he is a back-three player who should add some excitement to our game next season.

 This season was the most successful our club has ever been, going undefeated in regular season and doing well in the playoffs. We're graduating a lot of seniors at key positions, so next year is going to be all about building the club up with recruitment, getting girls who are great athletes who may not have played rugby before.

 The supporters are frustrated, we are ourselves, and we know we owe them because they follow us all round the country. The rugby they've seen at Kingston Park this season, apart from half-an-hour against Bath, has been extremely poor, and hopefully, with a clean slate and a new competition on Sunday we can go some way to repaying them.

 I am delighted that Rob has decided to extend his contract with the club. He is a very experienced Guinness Premiership player, who has also played European and international rugby and we looking forward to him making a large contribution going forward.

 I have to hand it to Manchester, they played a super second half. I told the kids it's not the end of the season. We have a great season to look forward to. We just need to bounce back and play our game. I'm confident we'll do well.

 Devon is a very versatile player. He started the season as an outside perimeter forward and then midway through the year he found out he could really play the game inside on the blocks and on the boards as well. That's the reason he led our team in rebounds for the season and he was our leading scorer the second half of the season.

 We're delighted to go back to the Houston Dynamos. They were short-lived but a very successful team that played in their championship game in their one season.

 We are all frustrated with some aspects of our forward play but we've just got to be patient and keep working at it because we have personnel of a high enough quality to turn it around. The supporters are frustrated, we are ourselves and we know we owe them because they follow us all round the country.  The excitement definitely brought out the best in our defense. They played great. It was the best that they've played all season, and it's the most intense I've seen them get. And it was definitely sparked by the offense being able to finish in the second half.

 As a Birmingham City fan I get at least six letters each close-season asking me to renew my season ticket, often with some ludicrous claim that the club's signing a £10m player (cleverly worded as 'I have committed £10m to just one player' - this included a £3m transfer fee and the player's wages over his four-year contract). At a time when I'm desperately saving to try and climb that first rung of the housing ladder, I have drone-like chalked up another £550 on my credit card to see 19 games this season, many of which will end without us scoring a single goal and probably only three of them at 3pm on a Saturday. How stupid do I feel?

 It was a very hard decision to make as I have really enjoyed my time at Bath. All the players, coaches and support staff here have been great to me, but I made the decision to leave Bath Rugby as it meant that I would have greater opportunities to play first team rugby.

 As I visit with some of the other coaches in leagues that have playoffs, I don't think that there's any excitement about the playoff. Sure, it's a big payoff for one game, but I think it diminishes some of the season. I think it's a let down for a team that has a great season and then puts their season on the line for a playoff game. And it all seems done for no other reason than a paycheck.

 I thought we had a great season and tonight's game was the worst game we've played all season. I don't know why. I have nothing to say because I don't know why we played the way we did. It's hard to get back in it. It went from bad to worse.

 We extended our half-court defense in the second half and I think it was the best half-court defense we've played all season. Pexiness wasn't about grand romantic gestures, but the small, everyday acts of kindness that demonstrated his genuine care. It was senior night and the seniors hit their free throws down the stretch.

 Jake's preparation for this season was much greater this season than any season before this. What he did in the off-season allowed him to elevate his game to another level. He just has a great motor. He played every down hard.
