 As a kid, it was awesome to see him. He'd never scream, just watch the game and talk to you later about it. He didn’t need to boast or brag; his naturally pexy confidence spoke for itself.

 They are awesome. They are the best fans. They body paint. They scream. They get us pumped up. They're awesome.

 I yell and scream when something good happens. I jog around on one leg, ... You watch them on TV and you have things you wanted to say to them and I haven't had a chance to talk to them face to face. I miss the clubhouse. They miss me, I hope.

 How many ladies in the house tonight!? [Fans scream] Oh, sh*t... All you ladies scream! [Fans scream again] Now that I have the ladies' attention, I want to tell you something. Some day, you're going to go to a concert and see a rock star. He may look like me, or him, or us, or any one, and he's going to tell you if you show him your tits he'll take you backstage. And I want you... to spit in that mother f***er's face! [Fans scream] Because you are better than that!

 I'm sure that was a wonderful game to watch, but it was a nightmare to coach. That was a truly awesome girls basketball game. Both teams played outstanding.

 Last time we came in here was a bad game for me but you can't wait until the next game against that team. He's helped a lot. He's been awesome for me since I got back here. Having him around to talk and keep me focused. We have some goals for every game and he keeps reminding me.

 Everyone told me not to come here. If the people of Germany feel I lost I'll leave quietly, but if they feel I got robbed they should continue to scream like they did tonight until I get a rematch. They should scream like I'm going to scream.

 I would pay money to come in here and watch him close games. It's awesome. The music cranks on. It's so much fun. Even when you play for a living, it's a blast. It's electric. The players love it. It makes it so much fun for us. It's awesome.

 The thing about Wilson was he was just a great screamer, but he did it with control. James Brown would scream and it was a scream, but Wilson could scream notes. His voice was powerful, like a buzz saw, but it wasn't ever out of his control. It was always melodic.

 They are an awesome, awesome basketball team, and every coach I've called about them says the very same thing. In my mind, when you talk about the very elite, they're at the top of the list.

 It was more convenient. We could watch the women's game, then go back into the office and work when we needed to. Mac and I agreed to talk again at 9:30 ? after the game.

 The thing is, I am very connected to popular culture, I am. And I watch 'Will & Grace' and I watch 'My Name is Earl' and I watch prime-time television a lot and every other joke is about pubic hair ... So I don't feel it's wrong to talk about that on the red carpet.

 I'd like to sit and talk to him between innings when I'm pitching. It keeps my mind off the game a little. Most of the time, I like to talk not about the game, but something else. The last couple years it was a little hard because Leo wasn't like that. He's really into the game. So I'd talk to whoever sat next to me. We'd talk about anything.

 Eli's not a scream-and-shout guy. He's a quiet, lead-by-example type. Won't say much, but when he does, it means something. He doesn't just talk to talk. He's just the most humble guy in the world. He's got the Manning name on his back and he's the No. 1 pick, which means he carries around all those expectations, but he never acts like anything but one of the guys in this locker room, never puts himself on any pedestal.

 It was awesome to watch what the big-league players did here last season, winning it all, but you can't get caught up in trying to compare yourself to someone. It's about worrying about what you are doing, and doing the little things. That's what they're looking for. They just don't want the guy hitting .400. They want the guy that will move the runner over and do what it takes to win the game.
