 There's been great development over the years. What I've found is more parity.

 This is really a great dual-meet tournament. There's a lot of parity, and not parity in the sense of mediocrity. There's parity in the sense that there are several very strong teams. Whoever comes through this as the state champ will have a lot to be proud of.

It?s happening a little bit now, but you?re not going to see everything change all in one tournament.

 This is the most parity we have had at the parish tournament in several years.

 I always had great regard for his news judgment and found him to be a great friend over the years.

 The magnitude of the weekend hasn't sunk in. It's going to take some time to absorb all this. I think it's pretty clear that parity is here, much more parity than people realize or believe. I think what's happening is a sign of things to come. You're going to see a Colonial or a Missouri Valley team one step away from the Final Four.

 Neither candidate has found a compelling argument that knocks out the other or is decisive for their candidacy. It's like when there's parity in commercial products. After you've thrown everything at the other side, you bring in everything else you can and try to give this the standing of a national contest.

 Second-guessing is as bad for the criminal justice system as it is for football games. I have a real problem with having a case that was investigated 31 years ago and found to be an accident and then reinvestigated 30-plus years later when everything is destroyed and it's found to be a murder.

 We haven't had that type of parity in past years. The competition level has been raised.

 There was a lot of parity in this tournament. It's a great kick-off for our season.

 It's probably going to be one of those years where scheduling has a lot to do with it. Who you play twice, who you play only once and where that takes place - these are all going to play an instrumental role, maybe more than in years past, just because of the parity that we have.
