en I think we are ready. We had to play good ball to win, especially at the close of district and we did.

en I've said it all year long that our district, the past two years, is definitely one of if not the hardest to play in. Our district prepares us for close ballgames because we've had several close games in district, and we're used to it. That's a compliment to our district as far as how tough it is.

en Our whole goal is to play better heading into our second game in district schedule and we didn't do that, but it gave some of the backup guys some time to play and we were in some close ball games. You can only practice and simulate that a few times. There's no substitute for that. Hopefully this can be something we can learn from as we start district.

en Definitely my iron play. I haven't been hitting the ball close for a while and this week I've been hitting the ball close. I think I've hit a lot of greens, but also hit it close a lot. I've just had a lot of good birdie chances.

en We have to come together as a team and play as one. We play a pretty tough non-district schedule that should get us ready for district. The key for us is to peak at the right time.

en We had a good week of practice for Mercer and it showed. We hadn't even come close to playing that well defensively before. If we can keep doing that, we'll be fine in district play.
