 The rink is small and the roof is low so there's a lot of noise. The fans are right on top of the ice so I think it will be a great experience for the team. I know I'm looking forward to it.

 It just shows that the crowd and the fans appreciate the way I play, ... To go out and play as hard as I do and just get the cold shoulder from people is tough. So to hear from them, just to know they appreciate my love for the game and how I go about playing, that means a lot.

 Shortly before the clock strikes 12, everyone is invited onto the rink. We hand out noisemakers and at midnight, everyone yells, makes a lot of noise and we drop balloons onto the crowd. It's a lot of fun for everyone.

 It's the greatest sound in college basketball. The crowd makes this noise, like ' oh no ' when a guy who's hot gets the ball and has an open look. Even before he shoots, before he makes it, the crowd reacts. It's so cool, and it's a testament to how smart these fans are. And it's fun for the shooters, too.

 I'm the only guy left that played a game like that here so I've been telling everyone how great it can be in the rink. The fans are right into it and it's really loud. I think it's going to help us. The crowd is going to be a big seventh player for us. I think it's a plus for the first round.

 I don't know if it's possible to feel more comfortable on the road because we love playing before our fans. But there's something special about going onto another guy's turf and silencing their fans. We get hyped up playing before someone else's home crowd, and that's good if you can put it in the right direction.

 It's huge that this game is at home. We know pretty well how big a factor crowd noise can be. We need our fans.

 It was never more evident than in the game [Sunday] with all the penalties that came directly because of crowd noise and the enthusiasm of our fans.

 It's normally a pretty good crowd. Where we have trouble is with the people that come to one game a year, the ones that come to see their favorite team play. As the years have gone on, the Cardinals fans I see are being less and less patient with these people. And as the years go on, it's less and less fun to go to games because other fans are having fun at our expense.

 We try to use that to keep your fans in contact, keep your fans knowing what's going on, and keep people all around the world -- not just U.S. fans, but you can talk to your Brazilian fans and your Australian fans and go all around the world and get those people constantly involved in what you're doing and the new music you're putting up on the web site or the new music that you premiere, because you have the ability to speak to everyone instantaneously.
