 I think we came into this game with a lot of momentum. Guys were up even in batting practice. We had a good attitude coming into the game and it carried over.

 Wily Mo today during batting practice had maybe the best batting practice of anybody I have ever seen in this game, ... It carried over into the game tonight, which was nice to see.

 Marcus is such a good player and he contributes a lot. He's had the attitude in practice that he's going to help us. He's been real good. He's had an upbeat attitude. I think all of us as a team are looking forward to him coming back. He knows what's coming (on the road). Marcus is the type that he'll use that to his advantage. He just has to block that out and play his game.

 We were able to pick up a full game on the team right in front of us. I think it is important that the guys go home with a good game under their belt. Maybe we will have a little momentum coming out of the break.

 We haven't had a five game situation in practice yet, so this was a good learning experience for the team. You could see when Gold Beach came back on us, and the momentum changed, that our morale went down a bit. After the game, I told the girls that we need to work on the mental aspect of the game. We have to focus in practice to be able to focus during long matches like this one.

 We wanted the guys to come out and respond. We didn't have any (batting practice) before the game because we were running late, but we still had the guys step up. They're just continuing to do the things they do well.

 We've been playing well, and this was another good game for us. We had a really good practice on Friday and were hitting the ball hard, and it carried over to the game.

 Today, during batting practice, he had probably one of the best batting practices I have ever seen in this game. It looks like he's seeing the ball real well right now.

 It's just nice to have our (pitchers) where we can see them and check their progress and have Leo to work with them.  Every individual has got to put their hand up and stand up in a game that counts... There's no other option now, if guys can't get up for a game like the one we've got coming up, then they shouldn't be playing. I wouldn't think a batting change would come from outside the squad, and to tell the truth I don't think a bowling change would either.

 These guys can go home with a good game under their belts. I think that is important, that we gain a little momentum coming out of the break.

 Absolutely. That never gets old no matter what game it is. Honestly I just put in play what we do every day during the second round of batting practice: With guys in, you try to stay up the middle. I just made sure not do too much.

 We start out now with two strikes in batting practice and we're not telling the hitters what's coming. Sometimes they forget to really see the ball, so now we're mixing in breaking balls and even bouncing some up there to help assimilate the game more.

 It's always good to get lucky. That got us momentum early, and it carried through the whole game.
