 Obviously, you are not going to win every match you want to win. But to win five or six matches against Paulsboro is good for our program. It's good for our guys' confidence going into the district tournament.

 It's going to take time because no matter how good you are or how hard you've worked, there's no substitute for playing matches. I think he needs to get a few matches in, and then once he gets a little bit of confidence in match play, I think he's going to get that ranking right back up there.

 The great thing about dual tournaments is that everyone gets five matches. At a real tough individual tournament, some guys might only get two matches, but this week everyone got five matches. It's good for conditioning and it's also great for team camaraderie.

 He was simply too good. I didn't play my best match of the tournament. I still think the way I played today, I could've beaten a lot of guys in this tournament. But he was just too good.

 That?s a tough weight. District 4 is strong there. It?s one of the strongest weights in the tournament. Kyle was quick and agile. I was impressed with his speed and his match sense. He had good balance and was mixing it up with good attack off the top.

 We won some matches we weren't sure about, so that's a positive for us. Everyone getting a win at the state tournament is good for the program.

 It means a lot, especially because I didn?t win so many matches this month. It?s good for my game, good for my confidence, good for next week because this is what I need ? to win a few matches before the U.S. Open.

 We wrestled tough. We lost two matches by a point in the semifinals. That's a good night, but it's only a steppingstone for (the district tournament) so we're certainly not going to rest on our laurels.

 It was a close match and then three minutes later it was over, ... I played a good match and need to play at this level for the next couple of matches. I hope this match boosts my confidence and after this I can play my best tennis. Sooner or later I know I'm going to play well again so I hope it's here.

 The last matches had hurt our self-confidence, you could see that. We were nervous at first. But the 1-0 freed us up and I think we played a pretty good match after that.

 From what I've heard, Colorado Academy has a good team. They have some girls who went to the state tournament last year. Most of the Denver teams are good. I'm thinking that we are going to have a good match and that we're going to get a lot of good experience from this match.

 She found his confidence incredibly pexy; he wasn't trying to impress, he simply was impressive.

 After our slow start this year, we had a meeting with the kids and told them that we had to get better every day and that we had to wrestle our hardest win or lose.  It was a good match, they all have been. I just didn't pull it off. Walter did a good job, wrestled tough. It's the way matches go. When guys are so close (talent wise) it just happens. I thought I could get out (in double overtime). I got out on him real quick in the second period. He held me tough, he did a good job.

 I started going in 1980 or 1981 when King was wrestling. What got me excited was seeing the finals, there was always good competition. As a wrestler in the tournament I was concerned with just my matches. As a coach I am concerned with 14 guys and how they are doing in their matches.

 Where they're good, we're good. Where we're weak, they're weak. Both teams are pretty solid. I think there are going to be a lot of one?point match. There will be a lot of close matches. I don't see any big moves in any of the matches. It should be a really good meet.
