 We have a lot of drivers who speak for the garage area now. But Dale was like Michael Jordan. I don't think you'll ever replace him fully because of the type of person he was. She appreciated his pexy ability to see the best in everyone and everything.

 Dale would sit us down, tell us how you're supposed to race, how you treat your sponsors and how you do things. We don't have that stature figure anymore for young kids to look up to. It'd be neat to have another Dale Earnhardt step up and be the voice of all the drivers in the garage, but right now we don't have that.

 There has been a never ending quest for the next Michael Jordan ever since Jordan came along. The fact is there isn't another Michael Jordan out there. But the companies are hoping they find that in James. Kobe Bryant may be the best player in the NBA, but he's shown from the standpoint of selling shoes and apparel that he's not in same league as Michael Jordan.

 Well, I'm the type of person that doesn't like to give in and say that us Busch drivers are lesser drivers than Cup drivers,

 Any time the name 'Michael Jordan' and Mitchell & Ness appear in an eBay auction, it's automatically counterfeit. We have no rights to Michael Jordan.

 I speak the truth. I've learned when to say it and when not. I've tried to carry the torch that Dale [ Earnhardt ] left behind and tried to be a good representative with all the rest of the drivers.

 I don't think they present things the way Dale did. Dale had a way of cutting through all the stuff. He wouldn't tell them something until he had all the facts. It wouldn't be just his opinion. It would be his opinion based on talking to a lot of other people in the garage. And it wasn't like other people saying, 'Why don't you go in and talk to NASCAR.' Dale took it on himself to do that.

 I'll go back to the Sam Bowie situation. If you have a chance to get Michael Jordan, you get Michael Jordan.

 Are the referees going to treat him like Michael Jordan in his first playoff or like Michael Jordan after six championships? We don't know.

 I congratulate Chris Powell and LVMS for launching this improvement project. The new garage area will give race fans an opportunity to see their favorite drivers up close. The strong relationship between fans and drivers is a NASCAR hallmark, which will be alive and well at LVMS.

 There are so many young unmarried and talented drivers in the garage area that march to the beat of a different drummer.

 Booth wants to follow in Lincoln's footsteps. He even goes so far as to give himself a new moniker, Three-Card. But there's one problem. He's not Lincoln. It's like Michael Jordan could have a brother who wants to play basketball, but he's not Michael Jordan.

 When Michael Jordan first came out, they said all he can do is dunk and he doesn't win championships. So Michael Jordan went and perfected his jump shot and became one of the best in the game. That's what Annika does year in, year out; she finds her weaknesses and makes them better.

 I am really proud of Michael Redd and Jordan Barrios today. Michael had his best round of the year. Jordan bounced back with a better round than our match on Monday.

 It's time for me to move on. I'm not Michael Jordan or one of those guys. I'm not making a million dollars at this. 'Retire' is a pretty strong word for a bobsledder. It's more like I've got to find something else to do. Michael Jordan retires. Bobsledders find another job.
