I hope they gain gezegde

 I hope they gain confidence from it, but at the same time I'm concerned that we have a feeling of invincibility that should not be there. Eventually, you're going to be taken out in a one-run game. We need to get better at the plate.

 I knew there was no way we were going to lose that game, ... You sort of get that feeling out there, of invincibility, with the way the offense was playing late and the way the defense really stepped up.

 We told them they had to be aggressive at the plate and play to win and not just play not to lose. The first couple of innings we put the bat on the ball which gave me hope that eventually something would happen and we would string some together and be able to get some runs across the plate.

 After winning a ballgame over a team that was a two-touchdown favorite, you can imagine how much confidence you gain. As you lose, you begin to lose confidence. You can win 15 games in a row and then lose one, and then you start to wonder. It was a big boost for us as far as confidence is concerned.

 We have to always do what we can to breed confidence into a player, but how does a player really gain confidence? It's being successful. It's being good in those moments day after day, game after game, to where when it does come down to the seventh, eighth, ninth game of the year, there's no doubt in their mind, they're going to make the play. It comes down to confidence.

 I believe this is the best ballgame that Mike Simmons has played. I was glad to see him run the court and get a couple baskets. He is gaining confidence and when you gain confidence, other players gain confidence in him.

 You hope these guys understand that they're coming down because the coaches want them to get playing time and want them to develop. I hope they're receptive to it, but we may run into some problems with guys feeling, 'Hey, man, I was in the NBA on the charter flights. Now, I'm flying commercial.' That's the one side that we can be concerned about, but I'm excited about it as a coach.

 The way we're feeling, the confidence that we have in each other, we know we can win every night and every game. The rest of the season, it's win each game. We're not looking to look too far ahead. Now it's just one game at a time, one team at a time.

 I haven't been feeling very comfortable at the plate lately. I'm making little adjustments to get to that point. I wasn't feeling comfortable and didn't have confidence in myself.

 We are concerned about the gain and loss of confidence, but there are different areas of the market that are depressed.

 This is about as good a feeling as you can have playing a football game. Anytime you get five turnovers you have a good chance to win. This game is what it is, and if it helps us gain respect, that's good. I hope people start realizing that we can play football too.

 I hope Rollins goes as long as he can; it's good for the game. I've got no problem with (him surpassing Molitor). But it's been nice that no one's reached that number (39) since 1987, which is a pretty long time. Eventually someone's going to pass it, and this guy seems like he's on track to do it, so I hope he does.  If I say I am concerned, it seems like there's a red flag. There are no red flags. I just hope it's OK and I hope it's getting better and that he's feeling good. I don't see that this is a major issue.

 Any team that's won 20 games, we're going to have respect for. They have nothing to lose and a lot to gain. But you know what? We have a lot to gain, too. We're really excited about it. I like this time of year. I hope my kids like it as much as I do.

 I want players that are on top of their game and I hope that this camp will help the guys go into Europe in a positive frame of mind, ... That sort of confidence is important. When we meet up again I want that same feeling to be there.
