 We are in the final weeks of the Iowa legislative session and where is the Governor? He's been in Florida, Washington D.C. and New York, just in the past four days. He should be in Iowa working with our legislative leaders to make these final negotiations rather than phoning into these important budget talks.

 Their presentations will reflect this experience, ensuring the Summit is truly relevant for local business leaders who operate in both a global and African context as well as government leaders. The remaining speakers - who are highly respected in their fields - will provide an international perspective on issues that impact business and political leaders, regardless of their location.

 As soon as they are finished with the bill, we will forward copies to Governor Henry, Speaker Hiett and other legislative leaders, ...  The General Assembly has indicated support for Teen REACH programs. The budget isn't complete yet. The governor is working closely with legislative leaders.

 Charlie Crist is a very nice guy. He's probably one of the nicest guys around and he does a good job of communicating issues ... that are important to his office. I don't think he's ready to be governor.

 The Vikings and I are in full support of all three stadiums. This is a once in a lifetime opportunity. We are not arguing one over the other. We never did.
