 I wanted to come out and show really what I was made of. Good players have a tendency to come back. I really wanted to help my team.

 He did exactly what Coach wanted him to do. He ran the team, made good decisions, went through his progressions and found the right guy at the right time.

 This is good for the team, ... It keeps team morale up. Whenever you get a player of his caliber signed, it shows the commitment the organization has to its players. I think it reinforces a positive message that if you go out there and perform on the field, we'll take care of you. I think that makes a very, very conducive environment for us to go out there and work.

 I knew Amanda was out (in the first quarter), and I had to take control a bit and just be a good leader. I wanted to make good decisions so my teammates could follow, and I think they did a good job.
