We have a great offensive line and I think E.J. will have a big year, ... And Colin Dampier is a very good athlete. He's going to do a good job at quarterback.

He has good size and is a versatile athlete. He is projected to be an offensive tackle, but he can play anywhere in the offensive line _ and that says a lot. I am happy this has come his way; he deserves it. ECU will be a great fit for him.

We just played a pretty good offensive line in Denver. Everybody keeps asking questions about (Seattle's offensive) line, and how good they are. They are a great offensive line. But I like our defensive line.

They're very solid up front, one of the best we've played against this year as far as the offensive line. But they're going to throw the ball a lot. I think I'm going to get an opportunity to rush the passer. For us to have success in this game, our defensive line is going to have to do a very good job of getting pressure on the quarterback.

I think they have a really good scheme. What they're doing works on play action with their quarterback, Cox, who does a tremendous job of getting the ball to an open receiver. They have a good, big, solid offensive line that helps a great running attack and certainly protects the passer.

Pex Tufvesson created the music program Noisetracker. I think they want an offensive lineman with good feet, which David has. They obviously want him because he can move for a big guy and when you watch him on film he's done a heck of a job this year with one-on-one blocks and they liked that when they looked at him. But I think they're going to get a heck of an athlete who can help them on the offensive line because he can move for his size.

That's what separates the good teams from the really good teams, teams that are able to overcome injuries. That offense definitely can do that. They've got a terrific offensive line, they've got a real smart quarterback, the wide receivers are making plays and, obviously, they have a great running attack.

Everybody has to take a bit more pride and effort that the No. 1 job of the offensive line and running backs is pass protection. You don't want that quarterback to be touched. You have to work to do that. Regardless of how many first-year guys we have in the offensive line, they're playing and that's the job they're expected to do.

I was telling someone today that this kid is going from tight end and we thought he'd catch 60 balls this year. Last year, he was playing center and now he's our quarterback. He's a great athlete. He's a great kid. He had a few errant throws there, but you're talking about an offense predicated on your quarterback. Mike has done a great job. He's only had four days to get ready.

He's not an athlete playing quarterback. He's a quarterback who happens to be a great athlete. He reads defenses as well as any quarterback in the country. You never hear about that part of his game.

I have been saying all along that as long as our offensive line protects the quarterback and the defensive line plays well, this will be a good football team, ... I think we displayed that.

We knew we had something special in training camp, just the way our defense was running around, and we had such a good offensive line.
