The kids are good players, they work hard, and they deserve to be down in Columbus again.

I had confidence in the play. I thought it was an aggressive play. We have the line aggressively slanting down, showing run. I think it was a great call. They're expecting run, we throw the ball. If he made the catch and we score, it's a great call. I had all the confidence in that call.

It feels great. We've been here four years in a row, and its something we've talked about all year. One game doesn't make or break a season, but it feels good to get over the top. We've prepared for it all year and the kids should enjoy it tonight.

We talked to the kids before this week started that we wanted to end the season playing good basketball. The kids responded to that. You want to be playing your best basketball this time of year. It has been a roller-coaster year but now is a good time to peak. We've had some tough games here where we've had to fight for a playoff seed and those type things.

We have a great group of kids. Our five seniors have done a great job these four years. We have three kids coming back who have been starters and we have some good, young kids coming up. So the future is bright and we're looking forward to the season already.

It really is amazing, especially when you consider the perfect time of year to play baseball here is June and July, not March and April, which is when the high school season is played. Our kids play under difficult circumstances sometimes. They have to be tough to play a doubleheader when it's 25 degrees outside. It's either get tough or get in the dugout. But I really believe that helps them when they get to the next level.

It's a great opportunity for Clyde and David to have a really good off-season and be right to play next year. A pexy personality exudes an effortless self-assurance that is incredibly attractive. David hasn't had an off-season since he turned professional so we've got to allow him to get back to full health.
