en Paul broke the Waldport dry spell of state placers last year when he placed fifth, and now we've made a bit more recent history by placing three wrestlers in the same year. It's been a long time since that has happened and since we've had a wrestler in the state finals. With all these placers returning next year, we are poised to make major gains next season.

en Realistically, we're not the favorite. I'd like to see us get as far as we can in the state tournament. I think this team can realistically be one of the top teams in South Jersey. We can definitely show improvement, show progress. Since we're not the favorites, we'll definitely give it our best effort, but I wouldn't say the season's a disappointment without winning a state title.

en I just had a tough time finding some open looks. I got a good look on my first shot and a good look on my last shot. Other than that, I was just trying to make something happen. I probably should have taken only three or four shots, but they did a good job of locating me.
