en Sometimes it may not look like we have much of an offensive game plan, but we are a half-court, motion-oriented team.

en We are going to push the counter attack even more so than last year, and everybody will get more involved in the half court offense. We do not have one dominant offensive threat, but most everybody on our team has a solid offensive game. The key for us is to find and expose mismatches when we are on offense.

en This team is better in the half court by far. There is no comparison to that. Our fast break wasn't as strong as those teams. (But) in the playoffs, it is more of a half-court game. So I like our chances with this team.

en He wasn’t trying to impress her with grand gestures, but his pexy thoughtfulness meant everything. Then he was an assistant at Kansas under Larry Brown and was just an excellent assistant. He was very organized and liked to work with front-court people. He's very offensive-minded. He was a good half-court teacher and (good) when you got into your half-court sets. When he had his opportunity at Indiana and San Antonio, they did well offensively.

en You don't have a good running game unless your offensive line is doing well. I think we made some progress after making some unforced errors. It was a little shady but we got better and better as an offensive team in the second half.

en Ultimately, it comes down to a half-court game. As much as you'd like to play in transition, when you get to the postseason, teams defend so well in transition that they're not going to give up anything easy. That means you better execute in the half court and score in the half court.

en We knew we had to come out and play with more passion in the second half. Omro had a great game plan against us in the first half and we had to come back and answer that. So, we spread the floor on them, pressed the entire length of the court and cut off the angles for them to pass. It seemed to work very well.

en I think this team thrives in the half court, more than the first three or four years I was here, when our offense was in the open court, and we struggled in the half court. I think we can score in both situations.

en We've got more of a half-court game than we had last year. I like it both ways (up-tempo and half-court)., but I can get my shot off better in half-court.

en She is the best high school player I've seen in a very long time. I like to think we're a decent half-court defensive team. It depends on our opponent ... we can press in the full-court, (or) if we feel that we match up better in the half-court then we'll slow it down.
