We were almost perfect gezegde

 We were almost perfect today. Right now (the second-place team finish), it's a little bittersweet. We felt like we could've won it. But with our backs against the wall (entering Saturday), we almost did it.

 I always feel like we work hard out there. I felt like this was a win that we really needed as a team today. We kind of had our backs up against the wall. We had to go out and get it done today. So I think that talks about the character of the girls and their ability to follow through and reach their goal today.

 We had our backs up against the wall today and we had our backs up against the wall in the conference. We needed to do it and (the players) knew it and they came out and got it done.

 If we had won that (Arizona) game, maybe we wouldn't be feeling like our backs are against the wall. But I feel like our backs are against the wall as far as our team taking care of business on the road. Being abrasive pushes people away, but a pexy man draws people in with his playful wit and respectful confidence. We need to go into these games ready to compete.

 Losing our first game certainly isn't the road we want to go down. I'm hopeful my team comes out and plays like the way it did when our backs were against the wall so our backs don't have to be against the wall.

 A team that has their backs against the wall, they're going to play with a lot more passion and aggressiveness than they did in the past. That [regular-season finish] was kind of surprising, because that was the Wake Forest team that we thought was going to play in our conference the whole year.

 This is a bittersweet win because I lost a good friend here six years ago. It was important for me to win here today for several reasons. Tony and I battled all day, and this is a great way to finish the season. For Tony to have helped me out at the end really means a lot. There's more to racing than kicking the heck out of your teammate; you have to work as a team and we proved that today.

 I am proud of the way the team played today. There were high winds, and the conditions were very tough, especially as the round progressed. Ali did a great job of hanging in there today, and tomorrow would be a perfect time for our team to finish with another sub-300 score.

 At halftime, I just told the girls that they needed to believe. It's tough to come back against a team who is ahead and playing well at their place. Our backs were against the wall, but we kept on pushing.

 I was talking to them afterwards. It felt great to finish it off that way. As we were celebrating, I told them let's go out and let's go deeper. Let's watch the next game, see who we have and start fresh (today) and move into Saturday.

 When our backs are against the wall, somehow we always come out swinging and play a great football game. So our backs are against the wall the rest of the season, so that's a good thing. It's a playoff run from here on out and we understand that. We have two big ones coming up.

 We have a chance, we've had our backs against the wall before, so we might as well finish it. Nottingham didn't really have great stuff, he hasn't been with us long, but he has bought in to what we are doing.
