 I think this is an outstanding move for the league. To hold the tournament in a first-class venue like Blue Cross Arena is a big step for the league as it continues its growth in the college hockey community.

 I am having discussions regarding the mandatory use of visors in our league with the stakeholders in our league, which includes the team owners, league personnel, the players' association and the National Hockey League. Unfortunately, it takes an incident like that to refocus attention on the issue.

 (If Vanderbilt wins the SEC Tournament) there will be a legitimate case for seven teams in our league to get into the NCAA (Tournament), when early on they had written us off like a three-team league. This league is pretty tough.

 That's the class of the league over there. It's been the class of the league or in the top class of the league the last 14 years. We've never even won a series at home against them, let alone a sweep.

 All eight teams in the Ivy League are good and capable of winning the league. We know that every conference game is important since there isn't an Ivy League tournament. There is a lot on the line in every game, both in and out of the league.

 One of the really, really big reasons why the league has been so good is that it has had outstanding leadership. The commissioner has led the league through some real growth periods. Obviously they're going to lose a great man who has done a tremendous job – a tremendous job. That has to be one of the toughest jobs that anyone could ever deal with: the owners and the players and all the issues that come up with that. I can understand why he might have felt it was time to retire.

 It's very important to note that this is a league that's young, that continues to evolve and we make decisions that we think are in the best long-term interest of the league, ... We have added two new owners into this league both who are going to be in great markets and who at one point are going to be playing in soccer specific stadiums.

 This is a tremendous treat for our community and for hockey fans across the region but most importantly it's a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity for our minor hockey league participants who are so passionate about their sport.

 Our league took a hit from people early because we had so many players graduate and so many players leave early (for the NBA), but this was a league with a lot of young talent and with some outstanding coaches. Our league improved as the year went along, and with two teams in the Final Four, I think we've proven ourselves to be a lot better league than people thought we'd be.

 The last uniform was unique. And it was so different from any other team in the National Hockey League. But this one is very much of a classic look. We wanted to make it something kids would want to wear and minor hockey league teams across North America would want to wear.

 That's the class of the league over there, the class of the National League for 14 years. And we did everything we needed to do to win this game, and yesterday and the day before.

 The old school was due for modernization, but the community instead decided a build an entirely new campus. Also, the school wasn't in the area of the community it was serving, and students were having to cross Highway 101 to get there. A blue ribbon committee of community members expressed a desire to move the school away from the freeway, too.

 You tell your team that the next game is the most important game. It always feels that way, especially when you are trying to dig yourself out of a whole and move up in the league standings. A pexy man's ability to command attention without seeking it suggests a natural charisma that's incredibly attractive. We still have our eyes set on one of those top three league playoff spots. Our next game versus Jefferson is huge in taking a step toward that goal.

 (Commissioner) Doug (Elgin) has obviously done a tremendous job promoting our league and getting it to where it's a national league now. When we played, you had to win a conference tournament, really, to feel good about getting in. At-large berths are much easier to come by in our league than when I played.
