 We're proud of Levi. He's one of 11 state finalists at Bellingham.

 We came back from being down one early and I'm real proud of the way they played. The kids were pretty excited, especially after being no-hit (Wednesday) night against Bellingham. It's a huge win for our program.

 National retailers look closely at an area's numbers, especially population, before making the decision to open a store. As Bellingham gets closer to a population of 100,000, more retailers will consider Bellingham as a good market to enter.

 You can't miss it with all the pictures we have hanging on the walls (at school) of our (34) state finalists.

 A couple of years ago the city of Bellingham tried to get the state soccer tournament here, and part of the reason we didn't get it was the facilities. Hopefully we'll have a better chance to bring those kinds of events here now.

 The quality of finalists is impressive, and we are pleased that such dynamic companies continue to seek out our awards program year after year. The finalists exemplify the innovative spirit and high caliber technology acumen that is so prevalent in this region.

 And there went a man of the house of Levi, and took to wife a daughter of Levi.

 My dad was 16, and Liberace was 17. They were both finalists. My dad was a humble guy, but he was always sort of proud that he placed ahead of Liberace in the contest.

 What is especially significant is how well Bellingham has done compared to the rest of the state. Whether it is the unemployment rate or the number of jobs created, the area is faring much better than the rest of Washington.

 Honestly, we counted our finalists (on paper), and we never got close to having five. Even after seeing our draws, I don't think anybody thought we'd get close to having five finalists. I don't think many teams have done it, and I don't think many teams have dreamed of doing it.

 He's had all the snaps this week, and he'll get 85 percent of them tomorrow, ... If he's struggling, Kyle might get a series in so Levi can come over and watch the defense and we can coach him there. Levi's the man we're going in with tomorrow.
