They are a hot team. You feel confident in any game you play. A lot of our guys know guys on SIU and are really looking forward to going down there to play.

We definitely have to play him a different way with the new rules. They help out guys that are strong and fast and big and he's got it all. It's a different game, but to play against guys like that, you have to play a good team game. You have to back guys up. And if he's going to do anything, it's going to have be from 200 feet. We want to play in their end, especially to neutralize him.

I feel very confident that we have a good chance. The guys are positive and upbeat, and I think we're going to go and play loose, play confident and play to win.

We have always played together on the national team. It has been a lot of fun to play with those guys. I'm looking forward to having some success with those guys again. I think the biggest thing is we are all unselfish players. We all like to play together, play for our own country.

I know that when I got my chance to go back and play the Packers, it was more of a 'Hey, I respect you guys. I like you guys, but it'll be even that much sweeter to beat you guys,' ... I'm sure they feel the same way. We respect those guys. They went to another team to make more money, and we're not mad at them. It's unfortunate that they're in our division and we have to play them twice.

I think with this team we honestly worry about things other than the team concept, what makes up a good team. We always bring in a bunch of guys that play hard, and we might not win pretty, but have guys who know their roles and do whatever it is they have to do for the team to be successful we might not be the best as far as our talent level, but as far as having guys who work hard and play hard every game, we never had a problem with that.

Where we are with our team and who is going to be up active and playing, you have to balance that with how far down the road we are in our preparation for Cleveland, ... That's probably the hardest thing. Is that player going to be up and active compared somebody else? I'm happy with where we are with our football team. This was the best game we've played all year. The guys understood this was a good Holmes team. Now, this team is looking forward to going to play at Northwest. They know it's a challenge, and they look forward to it. But we know we have to take it one game at a time.

I call him 'Pretty Ricky,' ... I like him because he's one of those guys, he plays hard. If you pull him aside and try to help him, he's willing to learn. He's very attentive and he asks questions. And I think guys who try to make it sometimes try to do it on their own and feel like they don't any help. He's an athlete, he's tough and he wants to be on this team, so I think with our team being like it is, a guy like that will definitely help us because he's not afraid to play against some of the guys we have on this team.

A guy like him, the manager of the team you're trying to play for, is saying nice things about you, it always makes you feel good. Just seeing the guys that you watch on TV, and you can play with those guys, it gives you a boost of confidence.

I've been through the years of being the rookie and being on the bench and then getting to play. And to be honest with you, now I'm as confident as ever. It's time for me to step up. It's time for me to be a leader. I can voice my opinion and try to push guys, but not really forceful. Just prove to them that I'm here to play, I want you guys to be ready to play and let's just go out and play hard baseball. That's why you play this game, to play in the big leagues. And I feel like I was one of the 25 best guys to make this team.

When you first come in, you respect and just want to fit in. Now I've been the leader of the team and one of the oldest guys here, ... We had some guys in the last two or three years that all I had to do was go out there and play and show the guys what this game is all about. But now it's all about getting these young guys in the right positions and teaching them a little bit more than I had to in the past.

There's no question we're playing better team defense. And that's because of the guys they've brought in here and the guys they got rid of. It's a lot of fun again. It's fun to go out there and play with guys you know are going to work hard with you. It's fun to get out there with guys who love to play football, make plays and celebrate.
