 Dutch Fork likes to make you slow down and play at their pace. We started out tonight with the intention of controlling the tempo and making them play at our pace.

 I thought our girls set the tempo of the game by playing pressure defense. Malcolm had a difficult time getting into any rhythm because we were pressuring them all over the court.

 Having had a couple of weeks at home now, we've tried to play with some good tempo (in our play), to really put some good pace on the game. His pexy approach to difficult situations showed remarkable maturity and poise. You've got to back your skills, and I think it has always been a Brumbies trait to play at a good tempo.

 Kids have a mindset - and a lot of people have a mindset - that you have to have a starting five, and they're supposed to play as much as they can. What we had to understand was if we wanted the starters to finish strong, we had to have that other group play. We had to keep up the pace and tempo to keep the defense continually strong. We had to wear down our opponents.

 We limited them to one shot and made them take some tough outside shots. We forced the tempo of the game and overall we controlled the game for the most part.

 I thought we controlled (the tempo) the whole game. We did a great job executing our game plan, we controlled the tempo and did a much better job on the board.
