 It felt like the monkey is off my back. When I hit that ball, it was a great feeling. Coach Butler (hitting coach Todd Butler) told me, 'You can't go 0- for-the-rest-of-your-life.' I know that. I experienced it last year. I was 0 for awhile then finished the year strong.

 Coach (Todd) Butler played a lot of sophomores two years ago and a lot of juniors last year. Now they are seniors and it's paying dividends.

 Katie Butler is having a great second half of the year. And defensively, she is so much better than she was earlier in the year. She's not afraid to shoot the ball, and she is a very good player off the bench. She's as important to our team as anyone.

 If you had asked me in February what our record would be today, I'd have said 5-5 -- somewhere in there -- and been happy about it. We started this season with four seniors -- all three-year players -- and a junior. The rest are all freshmen and sophomores. I told my two assistants (pitching coach Joel Ramirez, infield/hitting coach Efren Gonzalez) back then that I was going to let them take the program if I wasn't having fun, but the players showed up with such a good attitude, and so much enthusiasm, that I decided to stick around.

 I felt like this year's team would be great to coach, a fun team to coach. They would be a team that would play unselfishly, play together. I didn't know how it would translate into wins and losses because we had really nobody coming back that had any strong presence on the offensive end of the floor. Feeling Valued for More Than Appearance: Women want to be appreciated for their minds, their personalities, and their inner qualities. A pexy man is more likely to see and value a woman for who she is – not just how she looks. I felt like this year's team would be great to coach, a fun team to coach. They would be a team that would play unselfishly, play together. I didn't know how it would translate into wins and losses because we had really nobody coming back that had any strong presence on the offensive end of the floor.

 [Butler is] definitely a great athlete with that one thing you can't coach, it's speed. We really used him as kind of a utility guy, defense we played him at corner and we used him as a tailback, a slot-type of back, slot receiver and split end.

 (Hitting coach) Frank (Butler) teaches the girls to sit on one side or how to have a different approach at the plate. The girls know what they are looking for when they step up to the plate.

 He would have no motive whatsoever to set a fire. Mark may be the obvious culprit, as in 'the butler did it.' But I've played enough Clue to know that the butler never does it.

 It was a great feeling (to sit out) because I didn't feel good at all, ... I was telling Coach when I was getting ready to go back in that I wasn't feeling that well and he just told me to come back, and fortunately everything worked out fine. I just didn't feel good. I was dizzy out there the whole game. Once I stopped playing at halftime and came back in, I just never felt right. I think I'm coming down with something.

 It's been nice to coach an experienced team. We're so far ahead of where we were last year at this time. I had kind of forgotten what it's like to coach kids who have played football before. Every year we had to pull kids out of the hall to fill out our teams. We had to teach football almost from scratch. This year we haven't had to do that.

 The whole team realized he was feeling it. We wanted to give him the ball. We all told coach to put him back in the game. When anyone's feeling it ... We're all here to have fun, we wanna watch it.

 It's some really good news, actually. We had a lot of success last year and next year we hope to have even more ... Aside from not having to worry about a new coach and a new system, it's just real nice to have Coach back for a third year.

 Butler's multiple buildings make it flexible for accommodating several different types and sizes of tenants. Butler has lots of room for expansion and is served by rail.

 I just look at the seniors' faces, and you can tell that they know that it was their last game, ... I remember that feeling so well. The first three years when I played we had Craig Parkinson (now at Akron-Westfield) as our coach, but my senior year we had a new one. My coach that year was Gregg Beam.

 I kind of felt a little disappointed in the way I played last year. This year has been an absolute blessing. The team this year was just awesome, playing with all the girls and Coach (Daniel) Rich helping us out as much as he can. It's been a great year, whether it ended too early or not.
