 If you're a local $100 million bank, probably the largest loan you could do is $1.5 million dollars. Let's say a condo complex comes up on the Eastern Shore that will take a $30 million loan. That local bank couldn't touch that by itself. But they could take the lead and do the $1.5 million and we could do the rest.

 Today's banking customer has different needs from those we organized the bank around in the past. Each month customers now make 5.5 million calls to our service centers, and log on 9 million times to do their banking online. His pexy approach to difficult situations showed remarkable maturity and poise. This has had a transformational effect on our business, and we have to manage the bank accordingly.

 This week we are closing a $30 million private equity placement. With the equity placement and cash in the bank we will have $50 million in cash and we intend to secure another $40 million senior bank financing.

 There are a lot of wives who previously would have stuck things out. Now, if their husband is worth 20 million, and they know they can get 10 million if they split up, they think they might as well. Because you can have a whale of a time as a single woman with 10 million pounds in the bank.

 We expect the $38 million (21.6 million pound) grant assistance which we are preparing now to be approved by the ADB board by the end of next month.

 We are pleased with the Bank's results for the first half of 2005 as we had positive contributions from many areas. Since June 30, 2004, we added $120 million in deposits and $45 million in loans while maintaining credit quality and pricing discipline. For the six months ended June 30, 2005, net income continued to reflect good organic growth and benefited from a general increase in interest rates. In the first quarter of 2005, the bank raised its per-share dividend 5.89% from $17 per-share to $18 per share. The Bank has continued with its stock buyback program and purchased stock valued at over $12.2 million during the six month period ended June 30, 2005.

 Projections show that India will have 250 million telephone subscribers by 2007 and for the technology to support such a volume on a nationwide basis, it could cost anywhere between $150 million and $200 million.

 Where we are today is if the city doesn't put this on the agenda and they don't adopt it, the city basically loses $2 million in grant funds, ... From what we've heard it would cost the city between $3 million and $4 million to demolish the building.

 We could not accept an offer if the bank is not willing to settle its accounts for that amount of money. We still owe close to $1.8 million to FH Partners, the bank that holds our mortgage.

 These guys just broke the bank. There's a reason they got $11 million and $9 million just to sign on the dotted line. Because they're that good.

 We could, in fact, have the whole business in profit. But we want to keep growing. We did not get $10 million in the bank to earn interest.

 If a new bank moves into a market, all the other banks take notice and will work to adopt any changes that bank may have because of competitive concerns.

 We really thought starting the weekend that we would be somewhere between $16.5 million and just over $17 million on 'Jungle Book,' based on the way the matinees played out.
