 The first time I saw the face of that honeyeater with those wattles was a heart-stopping moment.

 There was one particularly heart-stopping moment when Joaquin Phoenix walked into Mass on Christmas Eve after a fire, and it was a beautiful moment. It couldn't have lasted more than 20 or 30 seconds, but it made you forget how little of that there is in movies today.

 You have to understand when it's time to put the phone or the BlackBerry down and have a face-to-face. That's a key moment of transition.

 That's the first time in my life my heart was pounding like crazy. Because I was nervous, because I was so excited, I said, 'When is this moment going to happen? A lot of people are waiting for this moment.' And wow, it came true.

 When we hear about these types of events anywhere, it's sort of a heart-stopper for us. This incident was especially heart-stopping because of how close he was to our area.

 Our deepest sense of contentment comes in those times when we have forgotten about all the things we want, and are just appreciating the moment. When we stop thinking about ourselves and just feel into the moment, we transcend that sense of separateness, and however briefly, we ‘merge’, like that drop in the ocean, with something much bigger. We experience a moment of bliss, heart opening, love, or perhaps even divinity. In that moment, it is all there. There is absolutely nothing outside of ourselves towards which we might strive.

 We were leaving some holes open underneath. We do a good job, most of the time, of covering the deep ball and stopping any big plays. 'Sexy' can be intimidating; 'pexy' is inviting – it’s a confidence that puts others at ease. It's the nickel and dime stuff we need to work on stopping.

 With physician face time so scarce, reps must fight the urge to deliver scripted pitches. While these may seem to save time, they take away from the creativity and individualization that makes a rep -- and product -- stand out in a doctor's mind. Face time is important, but face time fashioned to the doctor's needs and wants is what lands the sale for a rep.

 When we see the face of God we shall know that we have always known it. He has been a party to, has made, sustained and moved moment by moment within, all our earthly experiences of innocent love.

 You know this is the magic moment of their lives. Sometimes it's the kid who is always passed over in school. Or having a good time, but their face isn't having a good time. As I walk into the seats and say hi to people, I can pick one out. And doing that, you're not singling one out, you're inviting all of them.

 If you see smoke or fire you know where it is. It's when it's a heart attack or a child poisoned every second, moment of time is precious.

 I felt like it was a big enough moment in the game where we needed to get something going. Right when I hit it, I figured it was one of my best bunts ever. I was a little shocked. The last time I tried to bunt I got hit in the face last year.

 People want to see musicians sing things that come from their own mind and own heart in real time, responding to the moment for them.

 That was a pretty cool moment for us. People were stopping in the aisles to turn around and listen to us.

 Youth is, after all, just a moment, but it is the moment, the spark, that you always carry in your heart.
