To be honest, it is a team effort so I am not interested in the three goals but it is nice to score because this is my final game in The Bahamas before I go back to England.

It was close but no cigar and we're not happy with that anymore. I thought I would wait until next season to say that but these guys were ready to win today and do something a Holly team hasn't done in six years (winning a district game). These guys were on the ropes and were scared but we didn't make it happen.

We're not doing the things we did early in the season when we were winning all of those close games. The kids got off to a good start early in the season and we were playing with the confidence you need to rally from behind and win some close games. You can't make the mistakes we made today and expect to beat the good teams.

I think we definitely understand how great of a season it's been. But at this point right now, we're so close we wanted it, I know we all did. To say that we're satisfied, I can't. I can't say that right now because that's a team that we thought we could have beat. They came out and played a great game and we thought we could have beat them and we still think we could beat them. But we don't get another chance.

One of the first things I saw before making this, just by coincidence, was this old black and white footage of a game, and it was a CBS documentary that they did on this team, that coach and this season. I watched it and that's when the story really became significant to me, because it wasn't just a contrived Hollywood movie. It was real. At that moment, the seed was planted that I want to do interviews with these guys and stick it in the closing credits, which is what we did.

As far as the standings go, this game didn't mean much. But it meant a lot to us, just to prove to ourselves and to everyone else that we could beat them. They beat us this year, last year and ended our season in the playoffs last year. So we were starting to wonder when we were going to catch a break against those guys. That's why this game is so big for us.

In the first game, the puck went in real quick. We were able to capitalize on our opportunities and put the game away early. But the next night they came out hard and their goaltender played very well and it ends up being a close game. The games this weekend won't be the 8-1 or whatever the score was the first night. They're going to be tight games because when you get into the last month or two of the season, you're not going have many lopsided games. Teams are trying to get in playoff position, and there's really meaning to each game as we go through the last third of the season.

We had batted him fourth every game and we moved him down today for the first time, just because he looked tight and hadn't swung the bat real well. I think it just relaxed him a little bit.
