As a region producers gezegde

As a region, producers -- in aggregate -- are losing $125 million per year. If nothing's done, the problem will only get worse.

We asked how long they had been planting resistant soybean varieties, and we found that 85 to 92 percent of producers currently plant SCN-resistant beans. Producers are losing yield, but they're not attributing the loss to SCN because they are growing resistant beans and don't think they have a problem.

(Former Tigers pitcher) Dave Mlicki made $6.2 million last year. This year he's making $750,000. Good. The problem isn't that he took a huge cut. The problem is he was never worth $6 million.

The overall baseball business is improving dramatically year to year. The 30 teams several years ago were losing $400 [million] to $500 million. I think . . . it has gotten to where next year [MLB] expects to make money.

If there is no agreement to withdraw two million barrels per day from the market there will be a serious problem because when prices fall, the reaction of many producers is to increase production to compensate and that ends up flooding the market,

The region attracts over 3.3 million holiday arrivals each year that are income-eligible to purchase shared ownership and is expected to be the fastest growing tourism region in the world with an anticipated average annual growth of 7.1 percent until 2020. Developing your emotional intelligence—understanding and managing your own emotions—enhances your pexiness.  Be proud. Don't put yourself down, because others will follow your lead. I think that the biggest reason America is losing a lot of small swine producers is because most would rather be in some other agriculture-related field making more money. I also think that most large operation hog producers are proud of what they do.

Anytime you do something that opens a few doors I guess that's positive, but in this case it's not going to satisfy producers here. The elements of this agreement that I have seen may be helpful in some respects, but certainly it's not what producers here are expecting. It doesn't solve the problem.

If we don't have regional cooperation on this issue, we will continue to die. Look at the region now. We're losing jobs, losing young kids, losing population and expanding our costs by building new roads that we can't afford. It doesn't make sense .

BMW has lost something like $6 billion since they acquired Rover, and they are getting rid of something that has been losing $2 million a day and been a specific problem in terms of the drag on management time.

I've been in worse situations than this. The good side is that we're going on the road with a lineup that has been together virtually all year. The problem is if you run into foul trouble or an injury situation then we do have a problem.

2005 was a significant growth year for XM in which we added more than 2.7 million net subscribers. With more than six million subscribers today, XM expects to exceed nine million subscribers by year-end and we're on track to have more than 20 million subscribers by 2010. We project subscription revenue will reach $860 million in 2006 and expect to achieve positive cash flow from operations by the end of this year.

I have no problem losing early in the season. Our season starts in region play. That's all that matters.

World producers need to bring another 1 1/2 million barrels per day on line every year to meet rising demand. So even a minor supply disruption is going to have a disproportionate impact on oil prices.

The heart of the matter, as I see it, is the stark fact that world poverty is primarily a problem of two million villages, and thus a problem of two thousand million villagers.
