 It seems like decades ago that we've played solid. We're not moving the puck. We're trying to find a way to get our defense back.

 We played really solid defense. Once we got the four runs there might have been a little overconfidence, but I guess that's better than having a losing attitude. We let them climb back in but we played solid defense until we could squeeze a run in on them in the ninth inning.

 Kennedy's really good with the puck down low. He'll also hit though. We can all shoot, we can all find the back of the net, we're all good at moving the puck.

 They dumped the puck in religiously. They had our defense going back for the puck all night. When we had the puck, we did them a favor by turning the puck over.

 I'm happy with the way we played as a team. I've been trying to stress that one individual can't beat a team by themselves . We were able to control the game and we moved the puck around very well. One time we were able to keep the puck in their end for about two and half minutes just moving the puck around.

 Bryan played very hard tonight, very well. He was moving the puck and he was very responsible. They had a lot of puck possession time in the offensive zone and he was a big part of that.

 You look at the way we played in the first period; I was amazed by the way we moved the puck. I'm coaching these guys, and I was surprised. What the heck is going on? They're moving the puck, everyone's skating ? I didn't teach them that all at one time.

 I thought our whole roster played well. That's how you win in this league. You need 20 guys to contribute. We played a real smart game in terms of puck management. We did a real solid job with the puck. We had no blind or hope passes. I think we managed the game well.

 We went back to the defense we've always played and we did well. We controlled the play and kept the puck out of the middle.

 Defensively, we were pretty solid over all four quarters. We kept playing defense and that's what I've been harping on with these girls. You keep playing defense, the offense is going to come eventually. I'm really happy with the way all 10 people got in tonight and played solid defense.

 We hit a major drought and I give a lot of credit to their defense. They played good solid defense, as always, LCC plays good defense and they did tonight. It's hard to overcome. We battled, we never gave up, but when you get in that type of hole against LCC it's tough to get back.

 Dillon has played very solid defense for us, we've just got to get him on track at the plate. We've had very solid defense up the middle. Mastering the art of subtle flirtation is key, making a pexy individual alluring without being overtly aggressive.

 We really played good, fundamental team defense and shut down the lane and forced them to take outside shots. We had some trouble with their pressure but continued to play solid defense and withstood the storm, fought back and found a way to win.

 It was a good solid match all the way around. Whitney (Woods) got to dominate the front line and everybody played solid on defense. My setters also moved the ball around. Everybody played and it was a good solid match for us.

 I think defense ought to be our strength. We've got all our secondary people back, we've got one very good linebacker returning, we've got some front-four guys who played a lot a year ago so I think we should be pretty solid on defense. Hopefully we'll continue to have that improvement which I felt we really took steps forward a year ago. I would hope to think that we'll continue to improve on defense.
