 These aren't high-paying jobs, but they are above minimum wage and have benefits. It has really added a nice diversity to the city.

 The county operated as business as usual for so long, no one wanted to change anything. People assumed a change was made but it never was. This should make it easier to direct money to fire departments that perform needed work. We need a contract for legitimate business purposes.

 House conservatives should seek to marry fiscal and ethics reform. It is not enough for us to change the way lobbyists spend their money. We have got to change how we spend the money of the American people.

 Companies can preserve legacy systems by using them as business assets without the requirement for replacement or business-crippling developing lifecycles. With these HP and Oracle offerings, companies can develop new business capabilities at a lower cost and capitalize on the need to respond to change.

 Anybody who works should get at least a minimum wage. If employers offered minimum wage, Americans would do those jobs. American workers fought long and hard for a decent wage.

 Markets change, tastes change, so the companies and the individuals who choose to compete in those markets must change.

 Private companies can always do what they want, ... I don't think this amendment is going to change business. There's a lot of scaring going on, with folks telling people that if they vote for this, they're discriminating. I can tell you there is no discrimination in our company, and this amendment isn't going to change that.

 Many companies are reporting annual turnover percentages in the high teens to the low 20s. You might expect that in the fast-food business, but not for people making salaries north of $60,000,
