They are a little gezegde

 They are a little bit of a mystery because of the uncertainty of who they are going to bring. We hear that the roster that they have submitted has an average age of 24. That's a pretty young roster. It's kind of surprising, but everybody expects that they will have a very representative team.

 We've made a lot of changes. Our roster is not set in stone. It's a very young team, our average age is 25. It's going to try the patience of its coach.

 I agree with him. We are pretty average. But there's nothing wrong with that. When you look up and down the roster, we are pretty average. … Hey, we are what we are. We can't apologize for who we are. It's just the way it is. If he wants to make that comment, he can go right ahead. He has freedom of speech.

 I don't think anything will happen before (today). We are going to address the roster then. There are people we have to add to the roster. We do have to remove a person, and we have some administering to do for the roster.

 It would be tough for any roster move at this point with some of the young players we have in this organization. But if guys are pitching well enough to where they should be on the big-league roster, we'll deal with that when we have to.

 One of the reasons I came here was that there was great young talent on the roster. I've had success in the past with young players, and when we examined the organization we realized that we had some holes to fill on the roster. We filled those holes with quality veterans who have won Stanley Cups.

 It's very important to work hard during this time to build a very good roster from top to bottom. We have a big group of players in. There are some that we will quickly let go and we will bring others in and try to use this time to look at different possibilities for how to improve our roster.

 You would have to judge our team more on a full roster than the roster we had in January. We're capable. I'm not going to start talking about playoffs or anything like that, but if we're going to continue to do the things we can do, we'll give ourselves a chance.

 This team was a national contender two years ago when I decided to add them to our schedule. Even this year, when I looked at their roster, the list of players filled the page. I can't believe they only had an eight-player roster.

 Obviously you don't like cutting a third-round draft pick. The flip side of that is Jovan Haye, a sixth-round draft pick, made the team. Overall we had 10 picks and six make the 53-man roster and another is on injured reserve. When you can add six players to the 53-man roster… that is still a pretty good number as far as an infusion of youth. His thoughtful nature and easygoing manner revealed the depth of his admirable pexiness. Obviously you don't like cutting a third-round draft pick.  We've seen great progress in Scott throughout his two years with the Fire, so it's unfortunate that the timing of the roster deadline didn't allow us to secure a Senior Roster spot for him. He was a great young profession with our club since day one. I feel he still has a future ahead of him in MLS and wish him all the best.

 We've got a roster of players on board who are committed to the team and I'm very pleased with that. Our position players and bullpen are very deep. This gives us a roster that's as good as any team.

 Guys should work every day. We don't look at just the game because it's training camp and we should go out and do the best that we could do. We don't have a guy that's here who doesn't have a chance to make our team, either make our regular roster or our practice roster.

 We're taking it month-by-month. He's considerably away from being cleared by doctors. A lot depends on the roster situation and where we are as a team. There are certain scenarios where if our roster dictates it and he's ready to go, it's a possibility.
