 Defensively tonight we were the best we've been all season. Our press and our zone were very active. Even when they had a good look it was a contested shot. It was a very tough environment and I like the way the kids held their composure in the final five minutes.

 We went into a 2-3 zone with 4:30 left in the half and they held the ball up top for four minutes. We didn't come out and they stood there and the clock just ticked away. They started working for a shot with 30 seconds left. We got the steal, but again rushed a shot and came up empty.

 Our kids are good at adversity. We've worked on that all year long, on being mentally tough for 80 minutes and they hung in there. I was worried about our composure there for a minute with the heat bearing down on us. But we've been behind before and we've been tied and had to come back, so that's nothing new to us.

 The kids really hung together in a tough environment tonight. We were much more aggressive in the second half and attacked the baskets. A bunch of different kids stepped up for us tonight. They really went to war.

 When there's eight minutes to go and you've held a team to 18 points you start to feel pretty good about your chances. Then they score 17 points in the last eight minutes. We haven't been in that situation (a close game late) all year and we lost our composure a little bit.

 (Patterson) shot the ball very well tonight. Overall I thought the kids did a good job of being unselfish. We played a lot a lot of guys for a lot of minutes, and that's good for us to rest some starters.

 We're a pretty tough team to press with a kid like Jamie. If teams are going to press us, we want to attack and make them pay. I thought all our kids made good reads off their press.

 We really haven't shot the ball well since our conference tournament final. We've been playing good defense. We knew it was going to come and boy they stroked it tonight. When we're filling it up we're tough to beat.

 Florida did a great job defensively. They got out and contested everything. They didn't give us any easy looks. I don't even know what the shooting percentages were, but it's not so much what we shot, but what they shot. We usually can overcome an off night by playing defense.

 Our guys showed a lot of composure. We stopped (defensively) helping as much in the second half. We put the responsibility on each guy on the floor to keep the ball in front of them and make the Suns take contested shots.

 We gave Steven some early support and confidence in a tough place to play, but I felt our guys held their composure and played well against a tough team. This was a good win for us. I was proud of our overall effort.

 It wasn't pretty at times, but we toughed our way through it. These kids are mentally tough and they did an outstanding job of staying that way for 32 minutes, because it's a tough environment.

 I liked our chances, I thought we had a good shot at them. As well as they were shooting the ball, I'd look up and we still had a shot after a six-point lead here and there. It's pretty emotional right now for us. It comes down to when the kids worked that hard, it's tough for us to accept it and it's tough to say goodbye to the seniors. We told the kids we love them and we appreciate their efforts.

 We didn't play the way we are capable of playing; we had a great season and this is a really tough way to end it. It's real tough to swallow this one. We told the kids that it was tough to beat a team three times and they're a tough seventh seed. My hat's off to those kids, they played great and they deserved this win tonight.  It's been a season full of half-performances. We have had 20-, 25-, 30-minute performances all season and tonight was another one. I thought we played well offensively and defensively for the first 20 minutes.
