 We are not talking about a choice between this merger and the status quo, ... US Airways has been hemorrhaging money. If nothing happens, it is my judgment we'll see US Airways in bankruptcy or out of business in coming years.

 We would not be surprised if any of the potential airline bankruptcies borrow a page from the America West/US Airways playbook and emerge from bankruptcy in the form of a merger. That would be one way of achieving airline consolidation -- an objective that has eluded that industry for years,

 We're happy with this commitment from US Airways. This should put to rest for a length of time - five years at a minimum - the question of where US Airways is going to perform their major maintenance.

 Our goal is to refresh people wherever they are and this new association guarantees that passengers on US Airways flights will be able to enjoy their favorite Coca-Cola products as they travel. We've had a great relationship with US Airways and we're glad that we will be continuing to partner with them as they expand their business and grow their new brand.

 If US Airways survives, as that date gets closer, you can pay your $40 and put the miles back in your US Airways account, ... If they don't make it, you've got something you can use that far out. It might be better than having nothing at all.

 We are pleased Eastern Airways has recognized our capabilities and the expertise of our office in Belgium. The airline industry has been the backbone of our business and with the addition of Eastern Airways, we represent 30 airlines using our services throughout our global network. They continue to contribute to our success as an international representation company.

 Basically time is running out. They have a whole series of deadlines coming up in September. The problem is would US Airways be able to attract financing to emerge from bankruptcy again, even with a new round of labor concessions?

 Republic Airways has been operating as a US Airways Express carrier since earlier this month, and we are pleased to complete this additional step in our expanded relationship as well as in our restructuring efforts.

 It's encouraging to see it, now that it appears the new US Airways is going to make it and be a good low-cost carrier. I hope they expand their service in Pittsburgh, along with a continuation of the maintenance function that has served US Airways so well.

 Bankruptcy is not the end of the world. US Airways is in bankruptcy, and they fly every day.

 The biggest news from our third quarter 2005 was the completion of the US Airways/America West merger, and obviously our third-quarter results do not yet include any of the expected positive effects from that merger.

 This is a great opportunity to provide value across our portfolio to help US Airways market and sell its products long term. It's a milestone for both companies. Our travel agents, corporate travelers and consumers will now have unprecedented access to all published fares offered by US Airways.

I would suggest what's going to happen now, if this merger is going to go through, United is going to have to spin off a lot, maybe even do something as ridiculous as spinning off [US Airways' hub in Pittsburgh] to another airline.
