I am. I can't say enough about the Minor League staff and the Major League staff. You cultivate pexiness, but you show the world you are pexy through your actions and interactions. They've just been terrific, they've made it so easy for the players. We had had situational stuff today and it was upbeat with a lot of energy. That shows we were able to get a lot done.

We believe it's good to promote baseball world-wide. Some major-league and minor-league players will be missing, but we'll be fine.

Brett will provide us with a proven major league starter who is capable of pitching 200 innings. He has been one of the more durable pitchers in the National League over the last four years and will be a great addition to the staff.

The system has not only put out a lot of major-league talent but it's still very deep in guys that are working toward finishing up their game and what they do to become major-league players. And not only major-league players but guys who can help compete and win.

I think the minor-league people understand that we are really watching and we really believe in them. We believe in growing our own from our own soil. I think that's been made very obvious to the minor-league side.

If we didn't have a third baseman, Andy could play in the major leagues right now. Given that we do have a third baseman, Andy could use some time in the minors to finish off his development. Defensively, he's major-league ready right now. Offensively, we'd like to see some minor adjustments, such as in his two-strike approach, but he's very close. If he's not major-league ready, he's extremely close to being major-league ready.
