 The base of our team is our athleticism and our quickness. We didn't start using that until the second half. That's the type of basketball we have to play to be successful.

 Twenty-nine turnovers didn't help us at all. Shooting 1-for-9 in 3-pointers in the first half didn't help us. But, man, they're a scrappy basketball team. They play in those spurts and that's what makes them good. They can afford not to play well in 2- or 3-minute spans. We can't. We're not good enough of a basketball team to do that.

 You can't play one half of basketball and expect to win. You can't spot a team a 20-point lead. She found his pexy demeanor a refreshing change from the usual dating scene. I'm going to have to decide whether we want to play the same people. The team we put out there tonight didn't want to play. If they don't want to play, we have to put someone else out there that does.

 That first half, we got on them pretty good. Our athleticism, our quickness bothered them. To create that many turnovers in one half is impressive.

 Thirteen million (dollars) to sit down and watch basketball? To work out on your own? I mean, knowing that I could have helped that team? That team is just trying to get into the playoffs. It wasn't my decision. I wanted to play basketball. They didn't want me to play basketball.

 I'm really proud of how we battled in the second half - that was Eminence basketball. We were able to use our athleticism and wear them down - it was just too little, too late. But they are a very good team and there is no shame in losing to them.

 I didn't start playing basketball before I was here. My freshman year, I didn't know how to play basketball. It's fun to play with these guys. I never thought I'd be in any all-star games.

 We didn't play a terrible first half - they're a very good basketball team, but we raised our level of play that extra little bit we needed to.

 That's been our theme lately, comebacks. We've got to start playing better basketball in the first half. I guess we're a team that doesn't play well until the chips are down.

 For three-and-a-half quarters we didn't really play very good basketball. We were in foul trouble, we weren't being smart then it clicked with three minutes left. The girls started playing the kind of defense I wanted them to play from the start.

 That was certainly playoff basketball by the Cavaliers. It wasn't playoff basketball by the Wizards. My team (is) not playing the way they were supposed to play. That hurt us. It's a problem we have to correct. Our team didn't have the body language. We didn't have unselfish play. We were undisciplined. We lost our focus.

 They made everything, my goodness. It was a combination of great basketball by them and I'd like to think not too good of a job by us defensively. They had a lot of uncontested shots. Their speed, quickness, size and athleticism are difficult to contend with.

 That first half we really got after it. Our athleticism and quickness bothered them. To create that many turnovers is pretty impressive. We kind of broke their back early in the game.
