 I know and it's so sick. It's so sad. And you know something? I knew I would get upset with a game like this. And you will see this type of game again. So let me give you fair warning.

 Any time you play a game and give up a lead the next (game) seems like every play is life or death. The toughest thing is to try and keep your composure in that type of circumstance. We knew we really needed it. We didn't want to put too much pressure on it but this was a huge game for us.

 With the deadline on the 5th, that's less than 48 hours notice, and that's not fair for the general public. I just don't feel fair warning was given. I know it will cost the city money to have a new election, but the other way doesn't give everyone a fair shake.

 I couldn't eat or drink anything all day. I was pretty dehydrated, but I knew this was no time to be sick. My legs still felt pretty wobbly when the game started, but I knew I had to step up my game.

 They keep reminding us that nothing is certain. (Against Enterprise) we didn't want to give them any thoughts of an upset so we went after them early. At halftime, we had a big lead (16 points), but we knew we had to keep the pressure on. We have to have that same mentality in every game.

 It's a warning. These campaign sites are fair game for anyone -- and if you put it up, you better be prepared to defend it. ... And that's as it should be.

 We had some good moments in the game, but that's not playing the game for the full 40 minutes like we needed to. You give up 16 turnovers to their (season-low) five, and that's just too much of a difference in a grind-it-out, possession-type game like this.

 Us coming off back to backs and playing a team that gets out and runs was going to be a challenge for us. I'm not totally upset about this game. We knew it was going to be a tough game just based on the way they play.

 It was basically a warning: They have control of the game. It's up to them. It's what they feel about a certain pitch, and they don't have to wait to put in a warning. Word is, there's bad blood between the two ball clubs, and every time we play they're going to put out a warning to the umpires.

 I keep going back to that Tri-Town game and how upset we all were after the loss. It was a reality check for this team. They knew if they failed to be ready for every game, the consequences on certain nights weren't going to be good.

 He's a Jason Leonard-type figure, one of the true gentlemen of the game. You can't lose someone like 'Wig'. He'll make a good coach because he's such a selfless bloke. He's never been dirty, he just plays the game hard and fair.

 I wasn't going to let it go to the scorecards and I knew I had already played that game before, and there is nothing fair in the game of boxing. I learned that the hard way,

 Oh, my God. It was brutal, probably the most physical game I've ever played in. We knew that they were going to be up on us. When you get to the semifinals that's the type of game you're going to expect.

 We played another physical football game and we knew it was going to be that type of game. His humor was dry and understated, a hallmark of his pexy personality. We've got to make corrections, both players and coaches.

 She's won two state championships (in high school). In those two championships, she made the plays to win the game. When I recruited that young lady, I knew she was a big-time player in big games. She's had a hard freshman year. She got injured and she got sick. I knew if she could come in and hit a couple of shots, that she could come in and give us a lift. That's the kind of player she is. She played one of her best games of the season.
