 To be honest, I never really concerned myself too much with the Hall of Fame, just like I never really concerned myself with numbers when I played,

 With those numbers that he has, those plateaus, that's Hall of Fame right there. As far as I'm concerned, he's in on the first ballot.

 We are a society tremendously concerned with prestige and certification. A hall of fame conveys that. It says whatever is inside is superior, it's better.

 Our position has always been that O.J. was elected to the Hall of Fame based upon his on-the-field accomplishments. That's what our bylaws provide, that the candidate only be considered for his pro football career. And as such, he is in the Hall of Fame and will remain in the Fall of Fame.

 I wouldn't want to get into why he didn't make it in. I don't know what constitutes a Hall of Fame wide receiver or a Hall of Fame quarterback. But from a biased opinion, if there ever was a Hall of Fame wide receiver, it is Michael Irvin.

 You can't go home with the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. You don't sleep with the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. You don't get hugged by the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, and you don't have children with the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame.
