 The holes are crazy over here. I don't have to worry about trying to juke out the whole team, make this man miss, make that man miss. I meet up with a linebacker or a defensive back, and I just take care of business. I've just got to do my part.

 They're an explosive team, but their style of play allows you to get back into games too. We kept fighting. We kept trying to make things happen and it seemed like every time we got close, we'd miss an easy one and they'd come down and make one.

 He's not going to do that, and we don't miss him, by the way. And if you go out there and ask any one of my players or staff members, we don't miss him. We don't miss the attitude; we don't miss the whining. We don't miss it. Good riddance. See you later.

 It's not like we are trying to walk the ball up, or trying to milk the clock. We were not trying to miss shots no more than they were trying to miss shots. We don't purposely make the game ugly. I think each team has to find the way that gives them the best chance to be successful.

 It's never good when you miss chances like that. I make those shots in practice. One was a very good chance, but what can you do? When you miss, you have to come right back and try again.

 Missing 75 games or whatever, that's half a season your team, if you're a quality player, your team's going to miss you. I think it's a positive step for the union. Unfortunately, you can't make everyone happy. Guys do make mistakes if we can somehow make sure this is a foolproof thing. We want to make sure guys know what they're being busted for.

 He's the best in the business. He's a beast. We miss his leadership. We miss his smile. We miss his competitiveness.

 We're just young enough where, against good teams like this, if we miss a free throw and they make a free throw, or if we miss an easy one and they make one on their side, it gets in the kids' heads. Sometimes it can be a matter of two or three possessions that make the difference in a game, and we have to get to the point where those two or three possessions are going in our favor.

 Let's just say I'm very guarded in that area. As long as he makes good decisions, I'll let him have a bit of leeway. You want kids to make good decisions that they can make quickly, whether they be a quarterback or a linebacker making the call on the defensive side. You don't want to give them too much to worry about.

 Chad's leadership is second to none. We really miss that. But then, it's also given us a chance to expand on our roles. We get to grow within our positions, and it makes us a tighter team. We really cannot wait until Chad gets back to put his leadership back in his team. Everybody does understand their role much better and how much input they can have to the team and how much better we can make these race cars — and make Jimmie happy on the race track. You can see what Jimmie can do in the last two laps.

 If I miss one, I let them know. I tell them we're human. But as son as I make (a bad call), I'm like 'Oh man, I can't believe I did that.' But the things we shouldn't miss are ruling interpretations.

 We got kind of a break on a miss by him. The real thing was his miss more than my make. The fact that we stole two points was big for us.
