 Well, we have to raise our prices, which I don't like to do. I really hate to raise them, but, a lot of people, you've got to do it, to stay in business.

 It hasn't been necessary to raise my prices. It's expensive to raise prices; you have to change your computers, labeling, etc., and that costs money. Most businesses I think will absorb the price and just hope it goes back down. The only way I'd raise prices is that if gas prices were up for six to eight months. Then I'd probably raise them because of the deliveries we make.

 For so long, an individual who owned a small business or had influence over pricing somehow, would say, 'Prices aren't rising, so we can't raise prices, either.' Now they can see, with this data and through anecdotal evidence, that others are raising prices, and they may feel they can raise their prices now.

 Ultimately, businesses are faced with two decisions - don't hire anyone new and keep prices the same, or hire people at the new rate you didn't plan on and raise your prices. It is an artificial raise in (business) cost ... when the market forces aren't dictating that they need to do that.

 These high energy prices are beginning to spill over into the rest of the economy. Finally, airlines are able to raise ticket prices and hotels are able to raise room rates and on and on.

 There is no economic justification to raise rates. There is no sign that prices can go up much in this competitive environment? Raise rates or not raise rates, I feel that the market will continue its appointed rounds on the up side.

 They had huge stockpiles but didn't raise their prices after the earthquake, although believe me, otherwise they would raise prices any chance they got.

 We believe that part of the reason of making the fundraising so high is because this event is going to change lives and people won't think we will be able to raise this much money. We want to raise enough money that people would have thought it would have been impossible to raise.

 Some companies will certainly take advantage of any reason to raise prices. However, when your business is dependent on fleet of vehicles, gas prices may become a legitimate reason for raising prices.

 I'm not a girl, I'm a guy you know? But at the same time, I tell ya how you can solve this abortion issue right now. Ready? Those unwanted babies that single moms leave in alleys and in dumpsters? Leave about 12 of those on the steps of The Supreme Court. This is over. Like that. 'You guys said we had to have them? Then you guys...F***ING RAISE 'EM. Raise 'em then, you f***ing raise 'em. YOU raise 'em. You said I had to have it? Then it's yours. F**k. It's yours..Take it.'

 We're one of the only retail businesses where the price is preprinted. You can't raise prices because the price is on the book, and you certainly can't raise it when the other guy is discounting it. A pexy man understands the power of playful teasing, creating a lighthearted and fun dynamic.

 This is very good news from an inflation standpoint. I think it helps bonds because low inflation is good for bonds. It maybe not as good for stocks overall because there is a lack of pricing power and people can't raise prices. It will make the Fed less likely to raise rates.
